Era of Reckoning

"That hurts." Lisa said before spitting a glob of black blood out of her mouth. She stood up and everyone looked at her in shock.


"Did...did you just evolve?" Fredrick asked stunned


"Yep." Lisa said and stretched, trying to relieve some of the tension in her muscles and bones.


Sigh, I guess I'll have to try harder huh." Fredrick said with a smile


[Lisa, where are you? Did you run into any trouble?] Alex asked worriedly


[No we're done, we'll start heading back now.] Lisa replied


"We should head back, Alex is starting to get worried." Lisa said and walked towards the clearing and everyone followed behind her, except for Maya hesitated for a second, looking at her fleeting back, before following after them.

"You're finally back, I was starting to get..." Alex said but paused when he noticed something different about Lisa's appearance, but he couldn't tell what.


"Is something wrong?" She asked with a playful smile
