While contemplating how he can help Katelin, Alex decided to try something he hasn't tried since he first got his [Shadow Manipulation] grace ability, shaping shadows other than his. He focused his mind on the Shadow of a tree and just like before, he felt a resistance from the shadow as it did not want to be controlled. But with his experience from using [Shadow Control] and his upgraded affinity to shadows due to consuming the D ranked nightshade flower, he was easily able to overcome the resistance of the plant. As he got over the alien and unfamiliar feeling of manipulating a Shadow other than his own, he soon started to manipulate more and more shadows and soon, he could shape them as easily as he did his own. He turned the newly acquired shadows into chains and wrapped them around the giant ape, and in it's anger, the ape burned the shadows,and subsequently, their physical body.
