"Crap! Crap!! Crap!!! If that guy reports back to his superiors we are toast." Ruth said worriedly when the city guards disappeared from view


"Don't worry so much, even if they report back it should take a while for them to find me, since he only saw my face. And I doubt they even saw you since they were mostly paying attention to you." Lisa said casually, waving away her concerns


"Uh huh, and if they do find you, what are you going to do? And how would you explain this to Alex?" Ruth asked and Lisa froze for a moment. They had just only solved their problems with the Maxwell noble family and causing problem with the city guards, a group directly under the city mayor, someone with just as much power as the nobles, was not ideal. And this time, she doubted she'd have help from the guild.


"I'll deal with it when the time comes." Lisa said, a little less casually this time and Ruth's eyelid twitched
