Chapter 270 Testing out new equipment(3)

Upon arriving home, Alex thought about heading to his room to put the three beasts trapped in their shadows in his room, but then he got a better idea. The shadow coffers was built to keep shadows inside it and so, in theory, it was possible to put the beasts inside while still encased in shadow. They could also break out of the shadow and destroy the enchanted equipment, in which case Alex would have to buy a new one. There was also the fact that Alex didn't know how long a living creature could survive in their shadow for, but he was keen on finding out. Placing the three orbs into the box, Alex waited for a few moments to see if anything happens, but nothing did.

"Now then, let's see what the Shadow Chancellor does." Alex said, and released the shadows of the seven dead leopards from the Shadow Coffers and they scattered across the ground. Just laying their idlely, they also felt different than other shadows to Alex, colder and creepy.
