Era of Reckoning

The bear roared frustratedly as it's prey escaped and all the blue crystals in the cave grew even bigger, almost reaching the roof. The shadow ascended the steep section between the two layers of the cave with ease arriving on the second layer in seconds. Seeing Alex's companions, the shadow manifested itself in the middle of the layer, revealing itself to the others.


"Hah." Samantha was the second to sense the shadow and she immediately threw one of her daggers towards it, but the dagger slowed down, before coming to a stop and Lisa grabbed it out of the air.


"Calm down. It's not an enemy." Lisa said


"What is it?" Ruth asked cautiously, as she found the shadows gaze....unnerving


"That's Alex...I think." Lisa said, a bit uncertain. She was sure the shadow was Alex's as she has sensed it over a thousand times, but the shadow seemed weird and Alex never told her about a technique like this. The situation seemed odd.


"What do you mean 'you think' ?" Samantha asked
