"Your Highness, where are you lost?" Nylie asked, her voice a touch louder this time, drawing Dahlia from her reverie.

Dahlia blinked, startled, her eyes shifting from the fabric she had been absently staring at. "Nowhere," she replied, her tone distracted.

Nylie smiled knowingly. "It seems Her Highness shared a bath with Prince Sullivan. You two seem to be getting closer," she teased lightly, a glimmer of amusement in her eyes.

Dahlia's cheeks flushed as she recalled Sullivan's unexpected kiss in the bathhouse. The memory of his warmth still lingered, sending a shiver down her spine. She quickly shook off the thought, responding firmly, "Nothing happened between us."

Nylie propped her elbow on the table, resting her chin in her hand as she studied Dahlia. "I think Prince Sullivan is starting to like you. He's different around you—softer. His eyes reveal more than you might think," she mused.
