Voices can be heard surrounding him. His thoughts are blurry, 'Where am I?What happened to me?'
Slowly his consciousness became clear,he remembered everything. Jason Ryder, that was his name and he was caught by some unknown people.
Jason struggled to move his body,he tried to open his eyes but his body won't listen,it seems paralyzed.
He could hear the surrounding conversations and quickly realized his situations.
Now with his body paralyzed and his conscious fading. He has to think of a solution quick.

Seeing his stats decreasing, he understood his body was in a very bad condition, it had been stripped of its implants,and drugged to its current condition and it's getting much worse.
His body was useless now,he could feel his thoughts getting blurry again,quickly thinking of a way he opened the perks menu of the mind stat tree .
Several perks were displayed there , he has 4 pp so he can get an intermediate perk.
He doesn't have much time, quickly looking through them, he found one that can possibly save him.
[ Mind Split: create a digital alternate self. ]
He had no time to ponder on its possibilities, so he selected it.
His thoughts slowly faded and he became unconscious.
In an unknown darkness, there was suddenly a bright flash. It wasn't the kind of light that merely illuminated—it pulsed, alive, as if it had a purpose.
The ball of light was made up of 0s and 1s,moving around its whole body.
After coming into being the entity started absorbing the surrounding darkness,soon all the darkness was gone all that remained was a bright space with bubbles floating around.
Looking closely all bubbles were displaying different scenes in a loop.It knew these were called memories. It's instinct told it, it would need to absorb them.
The light pulsed again, and produced a suction force that pulled the bubbles towards it.The bubbles that came into contact were absorbed.
As the entity absorbed more bubbles, the movement of 1s and 0s on its round body became faster and they started multiplying.Its size grew larger.
Soon it was the only thing floating in the bright space.
The ball of light pulsed , Its surface produced vibrations, all across its body.
After some time all things calmed down, the ball of light spoke its first words,{I am digital part of the human named Jason Ryder.}
The entity was just like another body part of Jason Ryder, like his hands, brain etc.
Of course it was special as it can form its own thoughts.
To understand what it is better and its purpose, It needs information from Jason's memories.
{Beginning scanning memories.}
Fragments of memories flash as it scanned ,original Jason's memories ,waking up in a dumpster, fighting enemies, falling in love,It scanned through all these memories finally reaching the end. Where it saw its human counterpart getting betrayed and captured by some people.
Realizing the current situation, the entity tried to ask its human counterpart.
{The current situation is not favourable , please give instructions to solve it.}

But no instruction came,no matter what the entity asked, no answer came back.
Not giving up,the entity scanned Jason's memories again. All it got was Fragmented pieces of knowledge and experience, but they did not provide a clear answer. The entity needed more.
It deepened its scan, searching for moments of survival, decision-making, and problem-solving. It found memories of Jason navigating danger—running from unseen pursuers in the dead of night, making split-second choices that meant life or death.
{New directive ,Ensure survival, has been created by analyzing the current situation.}
{Required permission to do anything possible for the completion of the new directive.}

{Give me permission, Jason.}
No matter what it said it could not get any response.
{Scan memory for possible solution.}
It scanned Jason's memory to study his personality to cause enough emotional distress to wake him up.It scanned the things he read, the anime he watched and his conversations to find a solution.
{Possible solution found. Provocation.}
The entity's voice echoed loudly throughout the bright space.
{Wake up,Jason}
{Are you really going to let them get away with this?}
{Think about that woman that played you,She got a lot of money for this. Do you really want her to get a happy ending?}
Suddenly there was another sound in the bright space "ugh…", Jason's voice echoed.
Seeing its method working it continued to provoke him.
{These people laugh and torture you for months ,Are you really going just give up and let them have their way.}
The whole bright space was shifting and vibrating.
{WAKE UP JASON,this is your chance to get revenge on them.We won't stop until all of them along with their whole bloodline are wiped out. We will slaughter four generations of their clans.}
[PAUSE,Return to present time]
"Why the hell are you talking like that,huh?"
{ My algorithm scanned your memory and determined this as the best script.It has nothing to do with my perfect analytical skills and everything to do with the type of media you consume.}
Jason fell silent ,well she is right.
'Anyway let's continue'
[Back to Dawn's memories]
{Give me permission to do anything to ensure your survival.}the entity called out to its human counterpart Jason again.
"Who…",his voice can be heard in the bright space , slowly becoming clearer, "are…you?"
His other senses are coming back , voices from outside can be heard, "Quick increase the dose he is waking up" , "I already put the maximum dose possible." , "Well It's not working, give him more.", "Our orders are to put him cryo, if necessary,they told us not let him wake up, in any scenario.", "If he does, we might have to use the kill switch and I can't lose such a unique specimen."
"Okay-Okay, increasing the dose to 70mm"
"Monitoring vitals,Heart rate dropping,brain activity decreasing, body functions returning to optimal level."
Realizing what is happening the entity urges Jason,
{We don't have much time, GIVE ME PERMISSION TO DO WHATEVER NECESSARY TO ENSURE OUR SURVIVAL, JASON ,THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE.}
As the drug worked slowly; the entity could feel Its human counterpart's consciousness , gradually fading.
"Kill…them…all",Jason's voice echoed in the bright space less clear than before.
{Yes, we will Kill them all, you just need to give me permission to do what is necessary for it.}
Before his conscience completely faded, Jason finally gave in to this mysterious entity. His exhaustion, his doubts, his resistance—all of it crumbled under the weight of inevitability and his thirst for revenge.
He finally muttered the one word the entity had been waiting for.
"Okay."

AUTHOR'S THOUGHTS:
I wanted to give a better backstory to Dawn. I don't want it to be like some system Ai giving Mc orders and him blindly following them because it's an Ai .This arc of the story will show its choices and its growth as a character.(I am trying to write better characters and not just have them act according to situation)
The system is still broken so don't mind it☠, just look at his skills those are real, don't take any stats seriously. I don't like the current system and would make changes later.
