As the bid continuously went up and the smile on my face grew wide with head bid called, Leona seemed to see the expression on my face and realized that the potion was most likely my product, which shocked her to the core

'Is he…an accomplished Alchemist…at such an age? Impossible, it must've been refined by someone connected to him and he's selling it, that's the only explanation Leona was trying to wrap her head around reality because this defied it

'Even if he's not the alchemist, being associated with one is isn't much off, even Master Medvas of the Myriad Auction House has only reached the accomplished stage and at his old age, it's still exceptionally impressive

'Maybe…Maybe if I try once more, and use my mastery, maybe I could seduce, even just a bit, then my life could be bliss'

As she inches closer, whilst purposefully releasing pheromones in her scent as she crawled on between Rio's lap

Rio who was too distracted by his money growing bigger every second suddenly a slight weight increase on his lap just gazed down and see Leona

'Ahhhhhhhh, I've never wanted to kill someone so bad, should I just do it? If you think about who cares about reputation' Rio slowly brought his hands towards Leona's neck

Leona was internally happy thinking her seduction worked but realized something was wrong when the grip around her neck was way stronger than it should be

It makes sense why people would buy this potion, even at a high price, not everybody is fortunate enough to have the talent or luck to breakthrough the Magus realm, 50,000 High spirits was even considered cheap when you think about the true value of becoming a Magus

Once someone becomes a Magus, their life is basically an endless joy of riches and prosperity, with various forces using their savings to try to recruit them

Even with the longevity, one gets, 50,000 high spirit stones are too small since ranking up to a Magus increases your lifespan by 800 making a magus live up to 1000

"These stubborn people, why do they have so much money?" A White haired girl with golden eyes creased her brows

"I need to get this potion no matter the cost, this is the only thing that can help brother increase the chances of getting on the throne" she started nibbling on the nail on her thumb

"Add another 10,000 High spirit stones," she said frustratedly

"60,000 High Spirit Stones!"

The price was rapidly going higher causing the people below to rethink their whole existence and sink into derealization

'Am I really just an ant that has no place in the world?' one slumped their head down

The people here weren't poor people, they were nobles and rich merchants, so they were able to at least pull out 1000 High spirit stones if need be

However, seeing these whales bid 60,000 High spirits and still rise caused them to think of this life is actually real

"70,000 High Spirit stone" a voice came from another private room causing the White haired girl to grimace

'Brother gave me 150,000 to get this potion, and that was both of our combined wealth, I need to get this at all cost' the girl thought while telling the person to add another 10,000 spirit stone

After a short while, the bid crossed the 100,000 spirit stone and the bidding started slowing down with multiple people in the private rooms dropping out of the bid

With only three bidders left, naturally, the girl was part of it as she added another 10,000

Making another person drop out, leaving two bidders left for this potion

"120,000!" A voice came out but if one saw inside the box, the person's expression was in no way pleasant, it could even scare children if they were to see it

'Please don't bid, I'm at the end of my straw and this potion is my last option, if I can't get it with the money I saved up my whole life, then I would have to take it by force the person in the box thought

"130,000!" The voice from the private room of the white-haired girl said

"Friend, why don't let me get the item, I can give you the whole 130,000 and I can even grant you one favor," the man said trying to hide the pain he was feeling

The man turned off the privacy formation of the private room, to make everyone see who he was

A grey-haired, wrinkled man that seemed like he would croak at any second appeared in everyone's eye

"Isn't that…."

"I think it is…"

Murmurs erupted from the before quiet auction

"Isn't that the only Accomplished Artificer in the whole of Solia?" Someone said, although he didn't shout, he said loud and clear enough for everyone to hear him

"I think it is…"

"It's…Regan Traim!" Someone shouted

Causing everyone to become wide-eyed

A commotion occurred since Regan Traim is basically very hard to see, the only reason people recognize him was that he was the only artificer in Solia, making people try different ways to get in contact with him

"Sorry, I can't do that, I am also in a very tight spot and need this potion" The white-haired girl didn't feel bad, she could tell that he needed this potion to break-through or he would have at least ten years left at most before he dies

'He's already old anyway and probably expended all this talent, so breaking through would still be improbable, even if he took it, it's better being used for the future emperor'

Regan, at this point, wasn't trying to listen to rejection, but he couldn't act openly in front of everyone, even though he was a peak mage master, his old age didn't let him display the full capability of that

He sat down and started plotting on a the way to get the potion, 'since I could buy it, I will take it by force' he thought steeling his determination

After about ten seconds, the auctioneer confirmed nobody else was bidding higher and sold it to the white-haired girl, a relieved expression appeared on the girl's face with hints of pain due to the spirit stone spent, she originally didn't think she had to pay more than 50,000 High Spirit stones, but who knew they were people more troublesome

After she received the expression she was satisfied, she didn't plan on buying anything else and just watched the bids since she was aware of two other special potions

"Next item to be presented is…the impervious Potion, a potion that makes you become impervious from physical attacks and deflects magical attacks for a minute

Starting Price is…10,000 High spirit stone!"

Next on the agenda is a rehabilitation Potion, able to thoroughly clean all the impurities in your body, Dantian, and Meridians, The starting price is…10,000 High spirit stone!'

The two other potions didn't get Rio as high of spirit stone as the explosive potion It got him a decent size of High spirit stones with the Impervious Potion final bid at 40,000 High spirit stones and Rehabilitation Potion at 70,000 High spirit stones
