"Goal!!! They've scored their third goal in the first half, how would Team I respond to that goal!!"

"Nice assist." Tanaka said to Akatsuki as we high-fived each other.

"Let's keep this up." I said smiling.

"Tchh, don't pay any heed to them, we can still turn things around." The captain of the other team said.

"Turn things around? Don't joke around man, you guys won't be scoring any goals.* I thought with a smirk as the restarted the game.

"Anji!!! Here's the ball!!" The red-haired guy said giving him a lobbed pass.

"Nice." He said running with the ball.

"Not so fast." Kimishita said sliding for the ball.

"You won't be taking it from me." Anji said, the ball in-between his feet as he jumped with it.

"Whoa!! One man down!!!"

"Haha!!"

"Laugh while you can." Kimishita said as Suzune kicked the ball out of his leg and ran with it.

"Huh?😵."

"Watch the field man." Kimishita said standing up and running.

"Pass here, Suzune." Yusuke said running forward.

*We'll break through their formation and score one more.* I thought smiling as Yusuke played a lofted pass to the center.

*The one closest to the ball is...*

"Never knew I'd get another chance like this." I said running towards the ball.

"Their captain's got it, stop him from going further into the box!!"

*Hmm, they've blocked any passes to Tanaka and Akatsu, I'll just have to start again.* I thought passing the ball with my heel.

"Huh? Me?" Akane asked.

"Make it long, okay." I whispered as she nodded.

"A girl got it, let's get her." They said as she played the ball in again but this time farther than before.

*Okay, chance.* I thought running for the ball.

"It's far from him, he won't get it!!"

"Don't think too little of me." I said smiling before sliding and hitting the ball with the middle of my foot.

*Go in!!!* I thought.

"WHOA!!!! It got in!!!!!!!"

"H-how? I didn't even see it."

"Are you for real Atsushi, that was cool." Suzune said smiling.

"Thanks."

*They were confused that was how I was able to score.* I thought smiling.

"What an interesting half, one team scored and took full control of the first half, 4 between them in half time."

"Guys, seems like we are doing well." Akatsuki said smiling.

"Yeah, let's keep it up in the second half too." Ryuto said gulping down his water.

"No." I said standing.

"Hmm? Why no?"

"Let's go on full defence in the next half." I said.

*They should be tired by now, they didn't really like running back during practice. I really don't want them to get too tired and make the other team use that weakness and score goals.*

"Hey, we would also want to try our best to score." Yusuke said.

"Yeah."

"Captain, what you're trying to say is that we should drop the need to score goals." Tanaka said.

"Am not against scoring when the ball's in their half but, let's focus on strengthening our defence. Am changing formation to a 4-3-2-1." I said opening a can of water.

"Do you really intend to score more goals alone cause that's the way it looks." Ryuto said.

*Wait, is that how he's thinking of this.*

"Who said anything about me scoring?" I asked.

"What's the need to change the formation now? Let's just keep this up."

"Yeah."

"Am sorry but we'll need to change it."

"It's not fair."

"Yeah, it isn't let's continue this way."

"You'll make me leave my position."

"Ha... its my fault for not explaining things to you guys." I said.

"Hmm?" They asked.

"The second half is about to begin and the players have walked back into the field, but look, it seems like Team C changed their formation!!"

"Let's do this."

"What are you guys thinking? Are you tryna look down on us, huh?!" Anji asked clenching his fists.

"No, we just decided to change few stuff, we aren't doing anything in particular." I said smiling.

BACK IN THE CHANGING ROOM:

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"It's going to be a different formation and we all would be changing formation."

"Okay..."

"Suzune would take the CF, Hinami, Akane and Chika would take the LMF, AMF and RMF then we guys would go back. Ryuto and Kimishita DMF, Tanaka LB, Yusuke RB, I and Akatsuki CB, how does that sound?" I asked.

"Wait, what?!"

"Huh?" I asked dropping the can of water and drying my face.

"You want the girls to attack while we defend?" Tanaka asked.

"Mm-hm."

"Isn't that crazy?" Kimishita asked.

"He's naturally crazy, it's only natural." Akatsuki said.

"Hey." I said as he laughed.

"So, what's the plan?" Tanaka asked.

"Nothing, if the girls want to score then they should do their best, we just have to defend our post." I replied.

"Hmm."

"You guys are running out of energy, let's use the remaining half to support the girls or else you guys will give out before them."

"Oh, that sounds about right." Tanaka said.

"Well, that's the plan."

"I'll score if I have the chance to." Ryuto said smiling.

"Yeah."

NOW:

"Okay, we start passing, let's show them what we have in store for them." Anji said clenching his fist.
