chapter sixteen: The end of everything.

I had worn a black denim jean, pairing it with a white singlet and black denim jacket with white sneakers, I let my hair fall.

"You ready sweetheart?" Li Hanchen came in and I nodded.

"Let's go "

"Hold on" he kissed me. "Now you're ready. I smiled as we left the house, my dad said he'll be coming and will meet us there. Li Hanchen took up to twenty bodyguards, specifically for my safety, which melted my heart.

The moment we arrived at the venue, the bodyguards immediately formed a formation so the reporters will not swarm in. The Nian family and shin Jia Yi were already there telling the press different stories while Nian Junting played the role of a loving man to his wife and shin Jia Yi played a victimized woman.

"Miss Ning, miss Ning is it true the child is Nian Junting's, were you cheating and got pregnant?"

Please he never even touched me. The person who broke my virginity was Li Hanchen.

"Miss Ning, do you know you Just victimized a pregnant woman"

I felt Li Hanchen hands stiffened and I held him back, shaking my head.

When we reached the platform we saw the Nian family, and shin Jia Yi. Nian Junting looked at my stomach and I shielded it.

"That's my child"

"Get your facts straight Nian Junting, you never even touched me, this is Hanchen's baby" I sneered.

Li Hanchen held me back, and then looked at the Nian family. I could feel a terrible aura coming out from him as he looked at them, making their scalps go numb.

"Ungrateful entities, not only do you not know how to be grateful, but you also know how to bite the hands that fed you, today, you won't leave to see tomorrow"

The reporters started arguing.

Shin Jia Yi started ranting that I was sleeping with her husband even after insulting him in public, even going as far to say that I used to threaten her and her baby, saying that I would kill them. I burst I to laughter immediately startling the whole hall, then I stood up. Li Hanchen nodded and I went to the mic.

"This is really funny, I couldn't even believe I'm capable of that"

"Ning xi what's your stance now, are you trying to brainwash the people?"

"Brainwash? Alright, let me brainwash you then, the fact is that Nian Junting and I were once husband and wife"

The whole hall burst into a frenzy. "Ning xi what are you doing?" Nian Junting couldn't believe I will say that.

"What does it look like?"

"The marriage certificate and everything is here" I showed it up in the big screen as the took pictures.

"My husband suddenly cane home with someone saying we should get a divorce immediately, that person was his new wife, shi Jia Yi, this is the date of the divorce and of course, if you still don't believe it, check out the date of his new wedding"

The reporters were able to out it together and found out it was true. So shin Jia Yi is the mistress and I was his real wife.

"Of course they are many more things to reveal"

I handed it over to Li Hanchen, I said I trusted him and I did.

He began to talk and of course show pictures of the wedding between I and Nian Junting and even most of the things I didn't know he took, how did he know that, then he also went ahead to reveal all the set up and plan of shin Jia Yi and Nian family. Their face paled more and more as he continued. Before he finally revealed that he was the father of the child and of course a DNA test results.

Everything was suddenly reversed in matters of minutes. He then turned to look at them.

"Another surprise" immediately their phone started ringing and after picking it, I could guess the matter from their conversations. They were facing major bankruptcy.

"If that is all, we'll go now" I saw my dad waiting. The reporters couldn't even stop us as that went to the Nian and shin family to request explanation.

At least now it was over.

"Little xi, I hope you can put your heart to rest now, all the grievances you suffered, Li Hanchen has helped you to solved it" my dad said.

I looked at Li Hanchen gratefully and smiled, we all went home.

"Ning xi, why are t you asking me about what happened and how I Happened to have those pictures?"..

I smiled and then looked up at him.

"I figured you have probably been watching me all these while to get all those information, but like I said, I trust you and I will always continue to trust you, you never harmed me In any way, why would I be mad at you"

I hugged him tightly.

"Till the end of time, I will never do anything that will hurt you, and our child" he touched my stomach.

"I know"

"Dad is inviting us to come back home, the Nian family and shin family has crumbled from power and are now at their lowest"

I remembered shin Jia Yi and Nian xuelo, even Nian Junting and his mom, "alright, let's go home then"m, it turned out I need to see my dad too"

"I told him about the wedding, he's so excited"

"Of course he will be" I laughed as I laid back down on the bed, Li Hanchen cuddled me. "He wrote everything in your name, he's really a good dad"

"I love him, and you too" Li Hanchen kissed my forehead as we went it bed that night.

The following day, I heard about the death of all the Nian family including the shin family, most people said it was their enemies catching up to them when their down, but I guessed it was Li Hanchen's work, not that I mind, they got what was coming to them.

I was happy and so I didn't care in the slightest.
