The fog grew thicker and darker, enveloping the sky.
As Carson Flores ran, he lost his sense of direction and found himself lost in the mist.
The fog seemed to have the power to conceal perception; Carson noticed that the range of his senses was diminishing, as if the entire world was rapidly shrinking around him.
Concealed perception?
Could the fog also conceal the old witch's perception?
If so, his chances of escaping her would be much greater. After all, he could flee in any direction, and if she chose the wrong one, she might end up even further away.
"Carson..."
Carson suddenly turned around, his eyes filled with horror.
He actually heard Shirley Miller's voice!
All Carson saw was dense fog with no trace of anyone.
"Brother!"
Samantha Tate's voice also rose, filled with fear, "It's so dark here; brother, save me..."
Carson didn't move.
He quickly took out a Lotus Seed and placed it in his mouth, immediately feeling his mind clear.
The calling voices were gone.
