"You know very well that hospital food is barely edible," Ji Yunhuan sighed helplessly.
Qi Cheng looked at her with a hint of smugness in his eyes. "See? Without me around, no one even cares if you eat. And yet you still resent me?"
"Yes, yes... Fighting with anyone but you would be a mistake. Mr. Qi, you are my rock; how could I dare offend you?"
Qi Cheng, pleased by her words, sat up and made a phone call.
Before long, the assistant and the female housekeeper arrived.
They hadn't left at all; they had been waiting for Qi Cheng's orders the whole time.
Ji Yunhuan knew that Qi Cheng wanted the female housekeeper to cook. "Let's eat out! The kitchen at home isn't fully equipped, and I haven't used it since moving back. Cooking would be inconvenient."
It wasn't too late anyway, and the nights were the liveliest time of day.
Qi Cheng didn't like the idea of constant interruptions in his space.
But he didn't want to disappoint her either.
