Liuli had thought that Magistrate Du Wei's son would be a fat, big-eared bully or one with a face full of horizontal flesh; instead, she was met with a pale, thin, and sickly handsome young man.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
Wangshu was also quite astonished, not expecting that despite his notorious reputation, Magistrate's son Du Wei was not unpleasant to look at, but rather quite handsome. His overly pallid complexion, however, gave him an air of illness.
At the moment, he was leaning against the back of his chair at the table, when a maid brought him a bowl of medicine, "Young Master, it's time for your medicine."
Du Wei nodded, took the bowl, and without so much as a blink, tilted his head back and gulped down the large bowl of medicine.
Liuli was once again stunned.
Wangshu was a bit taken aback as well.
