Chapter 44 Passing Away_1

Wen Qiliang did not want to die.

He was filled with frustration, and the agitation made it impossible for him to hold back a vigorous coughing fit.

Wen Xingzhi said to him calmly, "Father, the more agitated you get, the faster the poison will act. If you don't give any instructions, in the time it takes an incense stick to burn, you won't be able to say anything at all."

Wen Qiliang's excitement finally settled down at Wen Xingzhi's words. He stretched out his hand to reach for Wen Xingzhi's, who stepped forward and handed his hand to him, allowing him to grip it.

Wen Qiliang had little strength left, and even though he wanted to squeeze Wen Xingzhi's hand tightly, he could not. He opened his mouth, having much to say, but with limited time, he eventually picked the most unwilling and important thing to say, "It must have been Ling Hua, Ling Hua sent someone to kill me."

Wen Xingzhi did not speak.

Wen Qiliang added, "You must kill Ling Hua to avenge your father."
