In Logic's plan,
he could offer the Five Great Rogue Nations of The Wandering Earth another choice.
What?
Why not offer it to the other national governments of The Wandering Earth?
What?
Isn't The Wandering Earth just comprised of the Five Great Rogue Nations?
The choice Logic planned to offer them
was to roam the land!
To build a living space capable of accommodating seven billion people, carry a vast amount of supplies, and charge toward the Centauri Star System.
That could avoid the lottery, avoid the separation of loved ones, and the tragedy of nearly three and a half billion people being unable to enter the Underground City and dying miserably in the harsh cold.
Building a living space for seven billion people seemed almost impossible, the project was massive.
But compared to the planetary engines,
it was truly minuscule!
Gathering the strength of all of humanity, it could be completed in at most three years, and even create more than ten times the space.
Moreover, Logic could also provide some technical support for free.
Such as food.
Such as living supplies.
Such as water.
Having unlocked QQ Space, he could conduct cross-universe trade at any time; based on this alone, Logic, if he wished, could directly become a Plane Merchant and earn unimaginable amounts of money.
But that wasn't his pursuit!
Because no boy could refuse to leave his mark in history!
Logic only wanted to achieve a small goal.
To start the family tree with himself.
Then pursue another small goal.
To start the history books with himself, too.
Of course, aside from some living supplies, Logic felt they would also need a technology that could allow seven billion people to live and work happily in virtual reality.
The Second World.
The Hacker Empire.
Enclosing all of humanity.
There was so much that could be learned.
Logic believed that what he understood, the Five Great Rogue Nations of The Wandering Earth would naturally understand too, and perhaps even do it better than him.
If the people of The Wandering Earth were lucky and Tony managed to research related space-jumping technology, or developed Lightspeed Spaceship technology, their time wandering in the universe wouldn't be long at all!
He pondered deeply.
Logic felt it was highly possible!
If you add a little trickery to that, it's bound to be stable.
Hehe.
To become wealthy overnight.
The forever richest man in the world!
Grandpa Logic is coming!
Logic and Pan Han left the Third Red Coast Base wearing their Iron Armor, continually traversing the ocean's depths, picking out the turbulent undercurrents in the water.
After the lengthy traversal,
under the guidance of 108, they came to a spot, then made a direct charge upward and soon saw that cargo ship above the ocean surface.
The cargo ship was filled to the brim with various materials.
As Logic's gaze shifted, a flash of light screened before his eyes, "Energy Points-containing item detected, absorb?"
"Yes!"
As his silent thought emerged, an imperceptible ripple of light flickered over the cruise ship, greedily devouring the energy contained in the mountainous goods.
"Energy Points +1."
"Energy Points +1."
"..."
"Energy Points +1."
"Energy Points balance: 1466 points."
Logic withdrew his hand contentedly; the cargo from these three freighters provided an ample supply of energy points, totaling over six hundred.
Along with the previous balance of energy points,
his total energy points instantly reached one thousand four hundred.
That was enough to traverse into a new world or say, replicate the knowledge of five to six top geniuses in various fields; or upgrade Sophon's replication progress; or even materialize ten Sophon-version Mark III Armors.
Of course.
The current priority was making money!
Without hesitation, Logic activated The Wandering Earth; with a faint white light, a dark, swirling vortex materialized in front of him.
He didn't step into it.
Instead, he focused his mind and a faint white light emitted from his body, converging midair into a new figure, its silver titanium shell gleaming, and the glowing chest revealing its identity in an instant.
Mark III Armor!
Logic gestured with his finger, "Barrier! Jarvis!"
The previously hollow gaze came to life as the figure twisted its body, raised its arms, and stepped into the swirl, shuttling through the kaleidoscope of colors into the universe of The Wandering Earth.
All that met its eyes was a pale expanse.
Desolation.
Not a single sign of life!
Logic, extra vigilant, quickly released Sophon and commanded, "108, take control of the surrounding intelligence programs and hack into the satellites. Report the position in real time! Analyze the images captured by Sophon; I need to know the current time!"
The Wandering Earth.
It was an incredibly vast project.
Not something that can be done in just a few days or months.
But over a very, very long time.
It included four major phases: the Braking Era, to stop Earth's rotation; the Escape Era, to break free from the sun's gravity; the Acceleration Era, to gain speed in the universe; and the Deceleration Era, to enter a new stellar system and orbit around a new sun.
Each era was measured in years.
Especially the Acceleration Era.
At least two thousand years, requiring Humanity to reproduce continuously across fifty generations!
And all this outside was collectively known as The Wandering Earth era...
Hence, Logic did not know his precise temporal location, although it had no particular effect on him. Yet, if he could be in the Braking Era, at least he might save the lives of three and a half billion people.
But deep down, he was already losing hope.
Because the land beneath his feet was vast and haggard, showing no trace of life, he couldn't even detect any oxygen.
Had it not been Logic who had come in person, but sent the Mark III to scout ahead, he would likely have become a bit player who had just crossed over and instantly collected his boxed lunch.
Dead meat!
However, Logic soon received some relatively good news.
"Sir, I've taken over some of the satellite permissions. The location you are currently in belongs to the Moon, about 380,000 kilometers from Earth, and that distance is rapidly increasing... We've lost the satellite signal…"
The Moon's distance from Earth rapidly increasing?
A foreboding sense washed over Logic's mind.
Indeed!
"Sir, I regret to inform you of some bad news. It seems Earth is about to make a getaway, and it has no intention of waiting for you."
"Damn it!"
Logic calculated the energy he had from the Ark Reactor he brought along and took another look at the distance between the Moon and Earth, immediately extinguishing any hope of chasing Earth across the stars in his Battle Armor.
He watched helplessly as Earth left, as his assets worth countless trillions departed, his heart torn to pieces!
I'm so angry!
I'm so angry!
"108, is there any way to get Earth's attention on me?"
...
The Wandering Earth.
At the highest echelons of the Joint Government, officials silently watched the screen before them, knowing well that this was humanity's first and most magnificent step into the stars, as well as the most ruthless one.
Earth's escape from the sun.
A bitter cold era will greet the surface.
The thirty-five billion people left out of the Underground City will die!
As everyone watched in silent mourning, the Joint Government's AI, Moses, spoke, "The Moon has just sent a Morse code message, the intelligence report is as follows..."
"Calling Earth, this is the Moon, you've left me behind! I haven't boarded yet!"
Joint Government officials: ???
