Chapter 95 Breaking the Wall Aristotle 1_1

```
In fact, had it not been for the achievements of Lin Sen, the PDC might have already rolled out new measures to restrict either Logic or Lin Sen.
Though Hines was a firm defeatist, he was not cowardly; he possessed a fearless heart. It wasn't that he feared the PDC, but rather he had his own convictions. In the original timeline, he mostly appeared weak, often yielding, but that was only for the sake of his own plan.
Lin Sen was also aware that the PDC would not allow him to control all Wallfacer resources. Regarding Lin Sen becoming a Wallfacer, the PDC actually had no objections to his abilities. All the objections were about whether such a move would cultivate an uncontrollable dictator.
The main reason for Lin Sen's visit was to Wallbreak Aristotle, and he even brought along surveillance equipment provided by the PDC. Needing Hines's resources was just a way to rationalize his schedule, while also showing the PDC his harmlessness, a contradiction yet logical. When the PDC believes you have the capacity to achieve something, they will speculate and restrict you, regardless of whether you will act or not. If you act openly and fail, it will instead reassure them.
On one hand, Wallbreaking Aristotle meant to kill the Trisolarans' hope of again utilizing the ETO, and, on the other, it provided security for his own plans as well as protection for Hines. The ID name Aristotle belonged to Hines's wife, Keiko Yamasuki, the last Wallbreaker in the original timeline ETO, the deepest-hidden ETO.
Keiko Yamasuki had been observing Hines for decades, but Hines, true to his role as an excellent Wallfacer, had not revealed a single flaw in all those years, always cautious even in his sleep, never uttering a word in his dreams.
Even though Keiko Yamasuki had not yet formed a plan to Wallbreak Hines, Lin Sen would directly nip it in the bud.
"All right, I was presumptuous. Let's drop the subject."
Lin Sen turned to Keiko Yamasuki, who stood beside Hines, and said, "So this is your wife, Ms. Keiko Yamasuki. I have heard of you as soon as I awoke from hibernation. The breakthrough you achieved on the non-Von Neumann computer is great, the hope of this era.
"Let's introduce ourselves again, hello, Ms. Keiko Yamasuki!"
As he spoke, Lin Sen extended his hand politely to shake Keiko Yamasuki's.
"Hello, Mr. Lin Sen." Keiko Yamasuki's face remained composed as she exchanged a formal handshake with Lin Sen, but inside she was slightly panicked, after all, she had watched the live broadcast of Mozi Wallbreaking, and Lin Sen was like a venomous snake in her heart.
"You seem very nervous... no... you're afraid of me." Lin Sen grasped Keiko Yamasuki's hand, and just when he was about to let go, he suddenly tightened his grip.
This statement not only startled Keiko Yamasuki but also surprised Hines. The security personnel monitoring Lin Sen from outside through the surveillance equipment also sensed something amiss and immediately got ready, prepared to rush into the belief center at a moment's notice.
"Mr. Lin Sen, that was a bit rude!" Keiko Yamasuki said, her voice betraying annoyed embarrassment.
"You're pretending, your annoyance is a front. You give me the same feeling as those dirty rats that stare at me; why are you afraid of me?" Lin Sen pressed on, his tone hypnotic and deliberate.
"I'm not... I'm not afraid of you, and if I am, it's only because I'm worried that you might harm my husband," Keiko Yamasuki explained.
"No, you're still hiding something. Your facial muscles are tense, you're forcing a smile, and the corners of your eyes are flickering. That's a clear sign of concealing and worry. You are afraid of me, aren't you?" Lin Sen then released her hand.
Keiko Yamasuki stepped back, surprised inwardly, but managed to maintain her composure on the surface. Hines, however, seemed noticeably displeased.
"Mr. Lin Sen, you are being extremely rude. Please leave!" Hines said, annoyed, still maintaining a gentlemanly demeanor, but his anger was clearly visible.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Hines. May I have a moment of your time? I need to ask your wife a few questions, is that alright?" Lin Sen apologized to Hines.
"I expect that after you have asked your questions, you will leave," Hines stated, effectively issuing an eviction order.
```

Lin Sen began his questioning, "Ms. Keiko Yamasuki, please look into my eyes and answer a few questions. You also have the right to remain silent."

"Don't be nervous, just some simple questions.

"Do you hate the Wallfacer? I can feel the hatred in your heart towards the Wallfacer. If so, do you love your husband, Mr. Hines?" After a pause, Keiko Yamasuki did not respond.

Lin Sen stared into Keiko Yamasuki's eyes, using a hypnotic line of inquiry that was actually meant to put pressure on Yamasuki. After speaking, he paused for a moment. This gave considerable psychological pressure to the person being questioned, especially someone with many secrets. In reality, her eyes had already given an answer.

After observing for a while, Lin Sen nodded affirmatively and said, "Oh, I know your answer now!"

Lin Sen was a Spirit Master, extremely accurate in sensing people's emotions, and he had a deep understanding of micro-expressions and psychology. More importantly, he knew Keiko Yamasuki's background, which naturally allowed him to see through her with ease.

Keiko Yamasuki felt immense pressure; she felt as though all her secrets were exposed, and had a strong feeling that she would be revealed today, but she still looked steadily at Lin Sen.

She didn't believe Lin Sen could see through her at a glance—there was no one in the world who could. It must be a trick to make her slip up. She just didn't know how he could have targeted her so specifically as she hadn't done anything to give herself away. Lin Sen was probably bluffing, perhaps he had singled her out as he had the First Emperor of Qin. She must not make any mistakes.

"I don't mean to trick you into making a mistake, just having a casual chat with you. Lower your breath; there's no need to resist my words.

"Now answer me, do you hate your husband?" Lin Sen watched Keiko Yamasuki, and after a while said, "So... that's how it is."

Lin Sen continued his hypnotic questioning, using techniques and answering for himself. It seemed unrelated, but Yamasuki's spirit was already subdued, with one thought in her mind: stay calm and don't expose anything.

But the words "So that's how it is" caused great unrest in her heart. Does he know I hate Hines? Impossible. We've always shown ourselves to be very much in love. This has to be another bluff.

"Do you... hate humanity?

"Okay... then what's the reason?

"Human ignorance?... Human selfishness?... Human fanaticism?... Human prejudice?...

"Oh... so it's fanaticism."

Lin Sen first confirmed Keiko Yamasuki's hatred for humanity based on her micro-expressions, then used the method of differential diagnosis to determine the reason.

This method presents the subject with various possible known answers one by one, capturing their reactions such as pupil response, breathing, heart rate, facial expressions... etc., and uses all these characteristics to make an informed judgment.

In fact, hypnosis is not as mysterious as we imagine, and certainly not simple. It's almost impossible to hypnotize someone who is highly guarded, but hypnotic speech can control and guide a person's emotions and thoughts in many situations, and that's exactly what Lin Sen was doing.

Keiko Yamasuki had a strong reaction to humanity's fanaticism and showed some relaxation after the word fanaticism was mentioned, pinning down that she hated humanity due to its fanatic quality.

Of course, Lin Sen could also draw conclusions from Keiko Yamasuki's final performance in the original work, but he couldn't directly call her ETO as that would, even if verified as true, inevitably alienate humanity from Lin Sen.

Another contradiction: people expect the Wallfacer to have superpowers, but when you truly possess abilities beyond their understanding, they may first worship you, but will quickly despise you. The best powers are those that awe them without surpassing their understanding.
