79. The Morning After..

They drank a lot. Carlos started crying about something on Zephyr shoulders.

He wanted to fight one of the servers for being disrespectful towards Zephyr by pouring him the lesser amount in his glass.

They raced who could eat the more stew from a giant pot. They destroyed some furniture with swords..testing them.

Carlos threw fruit like apples and pears out the large window, and Zephyr catched them using his blessing, placing them back in their bowl only to be launched again. It was a competition.. I think.

I got scared when Zephyr took em up in the sky and let them free fall shouting and howling like wolves, but they had so much fun it was hard not to join in.

We stayed outside.

They challenged hand to hand against a dozen Carlos soliders. Zephyr must look after him with his training because Carlos moved with the same grace as some of his best students, landing kick after kick.

It was funny how they wobbled around walking and moved like completely sober man in a fight.

To their credit even drunken, they beat them senseless, being drunk they didn't hold back and never stopped laughing, handing out brutal punishment to I can only hope well paid soliders.

They hugged each other while giving the mostly unconscious lot now, pointers about close quarter combat.

Not all were violence..

We danced too.

Musical instruments of all kinds and people knew how play them were brought out on the yard and we danced for so long my feet hurt.

We were kissing and touching each other with little regard who saw us.

It made me forget all my anger and from his touches and the way I felt him every time he pushed up against me, told me he was ready to make up to.

It wasn't just us Carlos and Yelena danced as well.

Yelena actually looked like a woman in love for the first time. The girls were sleeping on the lawn, and at some point, Carlos ridiculously named niece showed up and left almost as quickly. She was a confused girl.

We sat on the grass. I rested my head on his hard and, the same time, soft stomach and just talked to the Em's for some time about trivial things and soon went for bed.

It was a great night.

It's much better than I thought. My eyes didn't cheat me. The Em family soon, if not already, were considered as such by Zephyr.

Our family got larger once again.

We saw Anna sleeping on our bed spread out, so we didn't even have a chance.

I took out some extra pillows and a blanket we brought and made ourselves comfortable on the floor.

I looked at him without a word, and I wanted to..

" Zephyr.. I'm.."

" I'm sorry too. You marrying a petty man, my love."

He pulled me close enough to feel his breath on my neck. I climbed on top of him and pulled his pants down just enough..

" Are you sure?? What about Anna? " he whispered, pointed up the bed.

I was able to see her face sleeping soundly. Well..

" ..I'll be quiet, if you arhmp.."

He spread my ass cheeks and entered suddenly if not for my quick thinking. We already had to stop.

I got spun around and locked my leg around him and finally got comfortable after a long.. Too long time.

I slept like a baby that night.

I woke up satisfied and lazy.

I couldn't have slept more than a few hours but felt full of energy.. my back pain was gone, I didn't need to go for a run, and even my sinus cleared up. If this isn't a form of medicine..

Didn't wanna move.. but we had to. Still one more day until home. Then a birthday of a special little girl in the day after. I heard her still sleeping soundly.

I turned around on his arm I used as a pillow to find him already awake.

" Morning.. couldn't sleep? "

He smiled and moved some of my hair. " I just woke up a minute ago.."

I kissed him a little and nestled on his embrace. He smelt so good.

Us being naked and so close let me feel his morning affliction.

I started kissing his chest signalling, I'm good to go, and without missing a second, I had to bury my face in his to keep the noise to the minimum.

After so long a wait, I felt hungry for him more than ever.

The problem was our rustling daughter who must've awoken from our exercise. She twisted and turned.. but kept her eyes close.

I pulled the blanket on us. Just be safe. We waited patiently, but she was motionless.

Him being still pulsating inside me drove me insane. The next time he moved a few times, we both came at the same time. He squeezed me hard for the next minute until our breathing calmed somewhat.

I felt like we had been doing it a much longer time.

" ..That was a-mazing. "

" Hahaha.. I missed you. "

I got up, shaking a little, and poured us some water. Drunk my fill and shared some with him. Then, I lay across his chest and lamented how busy we were.

" I wish we could stay..just us."

" You just hate the road, my love."

He sat up leaning against the bed and rubbed his eyes. It's gonna be a long day and an even longer night for him. I'll make sure to spoil him later.

" Let's make haste Zephyr. We have a lot to do..and we can take Anna with us, buy her whatever she wants and leave.

" I got up and started to get dressed. " Don't you forget you making three-four round trips tomorrow at the very least... you so busy."

" Just as planned, my love. But things are looking up. Once Karta finally meets the Kings army. We can .."

" Dad..??"

She woke up with perfect timing, but I can always ask him on the road. Meanwhile, he was already holding her.

She looked very sleepy still and by Ehlite.. even my daughter has a busy schedule like her parents.

I can't wait for the rains to come and just cuddle with them front a fire.

" Princess, let's get ready quickly so we can take you sightseeing. Hmm? " I poked her face a little to wake her with a promise of food. " We can eat something anything you want."

She nodded on his shoulder. I gave them both a kiss and started to get dressed.

Once done, I issued out the orders.

" Go get dressed and no breakfast or long goodbyes. we see these people in two days at your birthday party. Now Go,Go,Go! "

Our wagon was taken to the gate and waited until we finished shopping a little. We said a quick goodbye to the Em's family minus. Lovely. The little raccoon is probably still sleeping.

" Zeph, this medallion is exquisite.. I feel like I've known Emet.."Carlos admired his gift on a silver chain around his neck.

" I'm sure he would've loved you brother, now I don't wanna hear about divine beast until spring. "

He smiled, grateful and gave us a quick hug.

" When is your birthday, Zeph? "

He looked at me, amused. " I still waiting.."

After Carlos and his wifes looks, I explained how we ended up here.

" ...I will come up with a suitable day, I promise.. soon. "

I endured their amusement, looking at my distress about something so... whatever. It gave us one more reason to go.

" I'll come and pick you up tomorrow evening and then you can spend the night at my house. We talk about plans further than. "

Zephyr shook Carlos' hand and hugged Ciren.

" Indeed. Travel safe, Zeph, and we see you tomorrow. " he looked at us and planted a small kiss on the ladies' hands. " Lylly, little Anna, it was a pleasure. I hope we can repeat many times in the future."

" I'd love that Carlos. Yelena, I hope we can talk more once in Emet. "

" I'm looking forward to it." she gave a quick hug.

We walked inside the town and separated from them.

I'm headed to our final round of shopping... I sincerely hope not to have to do it again until late November.
