Chapter 6 Way Back Then

"Grandpa!! Who were the past owner of this mirror?"

"I think it belong to your auntie"

"Why did she leave it?"

"It were just a mirror child, now let's go to eat"

"OKAY!"

I grabbed my grandson is hand and went with him out of his room, and put him on his seat while I went to help my wife with putting lunch. When I went back with my wife for the fourth time, I didn't see my grandson, and went to search for him, only to find him in his room, talking with himself... More likely talking with himself through the mirror.

"(Is the other side of the mirror a another place? Does it have the same things we have here then?, I donno... But this mirror does seem cool!)"

I could tell that's what were in my grandson is head, so I went and put my hand on his shoulder so he could give me his attention.

" Child, the lunch is ready"

"Okay grandpa!!"

I know he have some curiosity towards this mirror, it's not like he didn't see mirrors before but, for some reason. This mirror could make you feel drawn to it.

"SPAGHETTI!!"

My wife and grandson is voices saying the same word made me snap out of my thoughts, and look a them with a smile.

"I can understand our grandson is behavior over the food, but you darling?"

"Oh c'mon who does dislike spaghetti? None of course"

"Truthful darling haha"

We sit and started eating, and like usual we listened to our grandson is babbling about everything and his questions and our ways of answering them without really answering them. Since the topics he asks about are not for his age to know about.

After playing we went to watch a movie for children that doesn't have any bad scenes of course.

And while watching I saw my grandson and wife fell asleep, so I carried him to his bedroom and planted on his forehead a goodnight kiss and went out closing the door behind me.

The problem is how could I-with this worn out body-carry my wife to our bedroom?. I went to her and saw her tired face, she did really struggle much with me all those years. What a good wife.

I went and took a blanket from the bedroom and warpped my wife, and sit beside her leaning her head on my shoulder.

My mind went back to when we were still new couple, and how she were nervous when she first entered the house. Her red cheeks were really nice to witness. And even her words when she tried to say that she will go and change and how she were going to fall because of her wedding dress.

This were the first touch I made with her when I grabbed her arm and made her sit beside me, and sighed out of being worried and since I felt relieved when nothing happened to her.

This only made her redder more, and it made me smirk yet more. And she said just one, angry, yet shy sentence back then,

"STOP BEING SO GENTLE AND HANDSOME AND SAVE IT FOR WHEN I GET TO BE NORMAL OKAY!!!"

this made me burst out laughing for like half an hour, and she just glanced at me till my laugh died down. When I were still in my thirties I were so stubborn and naughty, because of my personality I hugged her before she could break free from me and made her lay down on the bed with me.

Too bad the wedding dress was ruined that day, because of me of course, haha.
