The war will end when I find a way to win.

When Thorian submerged himself in the water, he felt how it surrounded his body, and the wounds he had from every part where he had been attacked began to sting. In a few brief moments, the healing process began to take effect, and every piece of damage was being repaired.

What he had discovered over time was that even though the damage could be healed, scars from the wounds he had received during battles still remained, and these were much more complex to heal.

"My internal energy has become bigger and denser." Thorian was surprised that, after recklessly abusing his internal energy, it had increased.

He didn't know if there were more people of equal power or who had gone through the same as him, but Thorian was sure that a few became stronger under those conditions.

When one excessively uses the energy of a body, it not only wears people out mentally but also physically, something that Thorian had discovered to a certain extent. Since he was young, he had abused his energy, and that somehow accelerated the growth of his body.

Without having an instructor tell him exactly what he was doing wrong, Thorian could only guide himself by what he felt and how far he wanted to go.

At the moment Thorian regenerated some of the wounds on his body, he began to heat the water, which was very cold due to the place they were in and the season.

A few minutes later, the water began to bubble, and steam started to rise slowly, forming a layer of mist that remained below the cave. Thorian, with his fire, heated the water and created a magical effect that slightly illuminated the water with a pale blue color.

As the well where he was located lit up, and when he felt that his wounds had improved a lot, he swam to where Suki was and asked her, "Don't you want to try the water?"

Although Thorian's tone held no hidden intention, it still made Suki nervous, and she quickly refused. When she saw the color of the water, she felt very curious, so she just extended her hand to touch the water, and when she felt that warm sensation, she smiled. But at that moment, a hand grabbed her tightly and pulled her into the water.

Thorian, who had pulled Suki into the water, smiled as he saw the paint on her face had disappeared and said, "How does it feel?"

Suki shook her head and wiped the water that covered much of her face. "How do you think we'll dry our clothes after this?"

"I can remove the water from the clothes." Thorian replied calmly after continuing to focus on healing his wounds.

"Well, you're right..."

"Did it help you to take off your armor?"

"I could've done it on my own..." Suki was alarmed, but after seeing that Thorian was still floating in the water while the mist concealed his body, she smiled with relief.

She knew what close contact with a man was like, and she had always felt something special for Thorian, but as her mother said, she couldn't confuse feelings with wrong thoughts.

Thorian's goal was beyond any normal life a man could have in his life; he sought to end this war, and Suki understood perfectly well that his mind was not focused on common emotions like love.

When Suki took off the armor from the upper part of her body, she let herself be lulled by the tranquility, and without realizing it, time had passed.

"What will you do after finishing the war?" Suki asked at some point while looking at the starry sky.

Thorian didn't rush to answer; he knew that was a question he honestly wouldn't like to hear, so he said, "Maybe I'll look for a quiet life away from all the fighting; I'll live peacefully and silently defend everything worth fighting for; maybe I'll settle on this island."

"Do you like living here?"

"It's peaceful; places like these are hard to find, and life isn't so tough." Thorian said as he let himself be carried away by the water and, at some point, ended up next to Suki, who hadn't paid attention.

Life was different for everyone; Thorian had closed himself off so much during many years of his life that the feelings he felt were unfamiliar to him, and he didn't know how to respond to other people.

"Now that we have control of the seas, we will soon ensure that none of these islands are affected by wars; I'll take the war to the Fire Nation very soon." Thorian said, thinking about that moment and how long it would take.

Suki opened her eyes, and looking at Thorian, she said, "If you ever need a place to escape where no one can find you, you can come here; I'll always help you whenever you need it."

"Will you ever cook for me?"

"I don't plan to..."

"I like meat; do you have good dishes in that type of cuisine? Since I train a lot, I need energy, and I can only get it from meat."

Suki smiled, and after spending time together, they both came out. This time, Thorian could walk on his own, so there was no need to be helped. "Alright, now I'll remove the water from our clothes."

"What do I have to do?"

"Just give me your hands." Since Thorian hadn't used water control for a long time, this method was the easiest to use to remove the water from both of their clothes.

In a few moments, water droplets came out of the clothes, and they all floated in the air magically, as if controlled by the wind.

Suki looked into Thorian's eyes, and at the moment they were about to get carried away in this tension, a shadow fell from the sky, hitting the water in the well.

Thorian turned his head and looked at Doki, who had hurriedly come to see him because he was very worried.

"I told you I was okay, but you never believed me." Suki smiled ironically as she watched how Thorian's Griffin behaved.
