Chapter-19: A Mystery

And then the day for the tournament finally came,

(Everyone welcome to the tournament's next round which you all have been waiting to see, in these rounds the participants will fight one on one, whoever wins will progress to next round.)

Now let's see who Iam going to fight with, I know I will win without knowing their name, but it doesn't fell right to one shot them I should let them do some attacks then I will take them down with my attack.

Where is my name now in this match board. hmm, there it is my match is the first match for today and my opponent is Iron Body.

Ugh, why do all the ascended choose their name so weird, it feels so cringe. what can I even do now look like everyone's ascended name is only written on the match board and Iam the only one with my real name because Iam still considered an unranked ascended.

(Everyone the first match is about to begin, participants for the first round come to arena quickly.)

(Here are the participants for the first round, Kim Kazuki the one who defeated everyone in his group in qualifiers in seconds and his opponent is Iron body the ascended with ability to harden his skin like steel which made him almost impossible to take damage.)

"Hey, do you think you are some big shots now that you have defeated everyone in your group in seconds, I will crush you here with all my strength and tell you your place."

Seriously this guy is saying he will tell me my place now then let's who tell who's place.

(The match has now started, and Iron body is already making his skin hard which increase his defense and attack power at the same time, now what will Kim do…. What am I even seeing Kim is straight up provoking Iron body for a attack, what will be Iron body's reaction to this.)

We will see who was the stronger one when the match is finished.

(Iron body has begun to attack Kim with his iron fists what will Kim do now, he must have taken a lot of damage from those attacks.)

"Where is all that talk you were doing now."

(Wait Iam seeing it clearly know Kim hasn't even taken any damage from those attacks and hasn't even moved from his place.)

"What? How are you still standing from taking all those attacks head on."

Now that you are finished let me tell you what real power looks like, I won't even use a move that I have used many times. I will use a new skill I don't even have which mean I will just create it combine mana mastery with my physical attacks.

(What just happened Iron body is on the ground; he was knocked out with just one attack from Kim.)

(The winner of the first match of today is Kim Kazuki.)

Looks like I over did it again but it's not my mistake I even used a new skill I haven't used before; I just have to hold my power back so that I mistakenly don't kill someone.

(What an amazing way to show his strength Kim Kazuki has gained a name in this tournament the [Devil] of the tournament.)

Why the hell of all the names they can call me they named me this, the name I hate most in this world, augh.

(Now that first match is finished let's move on to the next match which is between Noriko and Kage.)

Did he just said Noriko, no it can't be I saw her die in my own hands, and it is not her real name it's just her ascended name no way it can be Noriko.

(The second round has begun, and Noriko is attacking Kage with her lightning attacks, but Kage blocked it with an ice shield he created.)

(This match is just getting better and better Kage have used icicle spears to attack Noriko and she dodged it with her lightning speed and did a counterattack with a blade covered in thunder.)

(Kage tried to protect himself with an ice shield but Noriko just cut that in half with her thunder blade.)

"You should forfeit, or you would end up seriously injured."

(gulp)

"I forfeit."

(It looks match two is also finished and the winner of this match is Noriko, the sister of Ray Hayami, Emi Hayami.)

(These past two matches have showed some amazing power of the participants in this tournament, now let's move on to the next match.)

So, her real name is Emi Hayami, she is the sister of Ray Hayami, and her ascended name is Noriko this doesn't fit well if I remember correctly Ray didn't had a sister two years ago.

Then who is she and why does everyone call her Ray's sister it doesn't make sense and more over why does she look identical to Noriko I knew two years ago.

Ughh, this is giving me a headache what the hell is happening if she is the real Noriko how is she still alive and why is she known as Ray's sister now.

Something is missing here that I don't know I should find it out during this tournament if she is the Noriko I knew or is she really Ray's sister.
