Rebirth and Revelation

The first thing he noticed was the warmth—the soft, welcoming heat of something that felt almost... maternal. Then, there was the smell. It wasn't like the sterile air of his old world. This air was fresh, earthy, and rich, like the smell of rain on soil.

He blinked and squinted against the light. What was happening? This wasn't his bed. He didn't recognize these walls, this place, or even... this body.

"Shh, it's okay, little one," a soothing voice whispered, its melodic tones calming his racing thoughts. A woman's face hovered above him, her expression filled with concern, but also—was that love?

He blinked again, confusion clouding his thoughts. Who... was she? She looked like an angel, but that couldn't be right. Wasn't he—?

He tried to move his arms, but they didn't respond. His body felt small, fragile.

No. This couldn't be happening.

His mind raced. Is this the next life? He thought. How did I end up like this?

His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden, unfamiliar sensation—a strange buzzing in the back of his mind.

"System initializing..."

What?

His eyes widened as a glowing interface suddenly appeared before him, hovering in the air, bright and almost... tangible. He could see it clearly, even though he was just a baby.

System

Name: [Thaddeus Lore]

Level: 1

Class: [Bender]

There were more tabs—stats, inventory, abilities—but they were locked for now.

Wait. Was this for real? This wasn't some weird dream, was it?

The system flickered again, and his mind seemed to automatically grasp it. He wasn't sure how or why he understood it all so suddenly, but there was no denying it.

Reincarnated... he thought. And I have powers now.

But what did it all mean? How was he supposed to use this?

Before he could process any further, the woman leaned in closer, her eyes full of tenderness.

"You're awake, my little one," she murmured. "You've been through so much... You were so sick, but you're strong. I knew you would make it."

Her voice sent a pang of warmth through him, though he didn't fully understand why. He wasn't sure who this woman was, or why she was so kind to him, but somehow, he felt safe.

He tried to focus on her face again, but his vision wavered. Everything was blurry, and his body... his body just wouldn't move the way he wanted it to.

I'm a baby, he thought again, frustration bubbling inside him. How am I supposed to do anything like this?

But then, another thought crossed his mind—his ability. The power to bend. He could feel it stirring inside him, deep within his tiny, newborn body.

A flicker of clay—he remembered. He had always loved shaping clay, bending it into whatever he desired. The simple joy of twisting it into swords, guns, whatever his imagination could conjure. But now... could he bend anything else?

The possibilities felt infinite. He couldn't wait to find out what he could do, even if, for now, he was trapped in the form of an infant.
