Chapter 104: Old friends

It was morning—around 9 a.m.—but Karl hadn't slept a single second. His head throbbed from a mix of hyper-stress and exhaustion.

Just as he opened the door to his room, he found Little Fen standing outside, waiting for him.

"Big brother! A parcel was delivered to our doorstep. Big sister told me to bring it to you."

Karl smiled and took the heavy box from Fen's hands. Fen giggled before running back to his room.
