Luna's POV

He pulled away from the kiss. "I'm sorry about..." He shook his head, looking away. "I don't know what got into me."

"It's alright," I said, lowering my gaze a little. "Don't worry about the..."

"The kiss?" he sighed. "Don't worry, I won't do it again. I promise I won't bother the both of you. So you have nothing to be worried about," he reassured me.

I had no words for him. I wanted to tell him that I was yet to give Alen an answer, but he didn't even give me a chance to speak.

"I did it at the spur of the moment, don't take it seriously," he muttered, his expression turning bland now. "If you'll excuse me, goodnight."

I watched him vacate the kitchen silently. Once again, he made me feel so small and inferior. Why is Dominick so afraid of admitting he might have feelings for me? Is that how little he thinks of me?
