A Note.

Luna's POV

I kept on glancing at the note in my hand. I couldn't believe it was actually from Sol. She mentioned that she was being chased by someone whom she wasn't aware of but Tom had indeed betrayed.

"I can't believe that bastard Tom actually betrayed Sol," Dominick growled, clenching his fists in the air angrily. "If only we had returned to the motel quickly, we could have maybe met her."

"I'm so sorry, Dominick," I sighed, sitting on the bed. "It's my fault. If only I didn't wander into the woods."

"It's not your fault, Luna," Dominick said firmly. "Stop blaming yourself."

I nodded, trying to push away the guilt that threatened to overwhelm me. Sol was out there in danger and I couldn't shake the feeling that I had failed her somehow.

"We'll need to figure out what Tom's involvement is in all this," Dominick said, pacing back and forth. "He might have answers."
