Luna's POV
I had been trying to keep calm in here, but I was quickly losing my mind. There must be a way to get out of here somehow. There had to be. The door suddenly opened, causing my heart to almost fly out of my chest. I sighed in relief when I saw it was only Joel.
After what happened a few days ago with Marcelo, I was paranoid whenever I saw him. Although he didn't touch me or anything, I couldn't shake the fear that he might change his mind and try to force himself on me.
"You don't look too good," Joel smirked, slouching on the couch lazily. He was such a dummy most of the time, maybe—just maybe—I could try to manipulate him.
"I'm so tired, Joel," I cried out, flailing my hands dramatically in the air. "I'm tired of staying here and seeing these walls, day in, day out."
"But you don't have a choice. It's the boss's orders," he pointed out with a chuckle.
