Luna's POV
I stood up abruptly from the bed just as Joel stormed inside, panting.
"Come on, we have to leave this place immediately," he said urgently.
"Really?" My face lit up with hope. "But how..."
"We don't have time to waste," he said, grabbing my hand. "We have to leave before Marcelo gets here."
I nodded and followed him out, my heart pounding in my chest. I hoped we would get out safely. I had been dying to see Dominick. I missed him so much.
We hurried through the corridors, taking long leaps. Joel's grip on my hand was firm, pulling me along as we navigated the dark passages.
"How far do we have to go?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
"Not far," Joel replied, his eyes scanning our surroundings. "There's a car waiting for us outside."
We reached the exit and slipped out into the cool night air. The sound of distant footsteps sent a chill down my spine. Marcelo's men were close by.
