Makeshift House.

Luna's POV

My eyes fluttered slowly, trying to open, but I gasped as a sharp pain shot through my head. I tossed to the other side, but the surface felt hard, nothing like the softness of a bed. Alerted, I forced my eyes open and sat up, glancing around in confusion.

"Where is this?" I muttered, looking around the makeshift house made of bamboo and other rudimentary materials. Suddenly, it all started coming back to me—I was in the woods, running until Joel caught me, and everything went dark. What did he use to hit my head that made it hurt so much?

I brought my hand up to my head and felt a piece of cloth tied around it. The makeshift bandage was rough against my skin, but it had been applied with care. I winced as I touched the tender spot, the pain throbbing with every heartbeat.
