Chapter 8: Trouble arises.
We left the house at 10 am and proceeded towards Kappabashi as planned, shopping for various tableware. There were different Varieties of stylish table ware to choose from, making it hard for us to select one. Not only
that, but there were also a variety of equipment used in festivals, food sample stores and more. Overall, it was a really fun town just to explore.
Also, what was extremely cute to observe were Amanika-san's eyes, sparkling and displaying her innocent charm filled with excitement.
I kind of regret playing with her like that . Like I don't think I should feed her more materials for her fantasy's.
After lunch, we entered an electronics store in
Ikebukuro and bought a set of home appliances, including a refrigerator, which was surprisingly a difficult
decision.
(A/N: A commercial and entertainment district in Japan.)
Recalling TV program about how the shopkeepers donning glasses and with wrinkles seemed to be the most
knowledgeable in their field, Amanika-san approached a shopkeeper who fit the description and enquired him about this and that.
The clerk wasn't bothered about us being high school students and he patiently listened to our requirements with regards to our necessity and performance. He then suggested products one by one that would suit our needs.
Although I do get it because no matter where it's from money is money.
The conversation was remarkably fascinating, and
he even offered us a discount. What seemed more interesting was that the more I listened to him, the more I was convinced of buying home appliances from Amanika Electronics.
That's the Amanika Group for you.
still, the conversation lasted exceedingly long. and it was past 7 pm when we were finished with the procedures and paid the bill and delivery and placement.
Today's shopping was mainly done by Amanika-san, and I was kind of accompanying her, but of course I gave my
opinion wherever necessary.
While it was easy to be a simple yes-man Amanika-san and I were living together. It would be wrong to just leave it to her.
(A/N: Yes-man Somebody who says yes to everything.).
What should also be mentioned was that the payment was made entirely in cash in one single, huge lump. When she pulled out a bundle of cash from a thick, sealed envelope, even the enthusiastic sales clerk at the
electronics store froze up. I couldn't keep my mouth closed either.
"My father entrusted me with some of his personal funds. In return, I have to report what appliances I bought. So, can you give me your card so l can mention him your name?"
".....Yes, yes!"
The clerk handed the business card to Amanika-san with his hands trembling a bit.
Amanika-san smiled like a goddess as she accepted it.
"Thank you very much. Thanks to you, I had a very pleasant shopping experience today. I will be sure to inform my father about you."
After that, the clerk probably went on a career path that eventually could lead him to then executive level, but that's another story.
"What do you want to do, Akeshi-kun? Do you wish to have dinner at home?"
"No, I'm indeed tired today. If we were to start cooking something fancy when we arrive home, it would be too late, so why don't web grab a bite to eat and then head home? Or if you want to eat a simple pasta or something, I can make it for you."
In fact I was quite good at cooking. To be honest my parents weren't at home most of the time. One was out for running or ruining his luck and other was always at her friend's house. Though I sometimes thought of worse sceneries but they were all proven wrong.
Suddenly I got a call on my phone.
"..Uhm..I will go and pick the phone up. Can you wait for sometime?"
With smile she nodded her head and I walked to a corner to talk with this person.
When I answered the call the first thing I heard was the sound of loud scream of surprise and a good amount of killing intent from the other side of the phone which I don't know how is it possible.
‹HEY!!How the heck you know Amanika-sama!? AND THE Fuck You Were Doing With Her!? the two of you looked like married couple!!"›
Gosh she is unbelievably loud.
The girl is the manager of this electrical shop.
"How about I tell you tomorrow? At the usual place? And I don't think you should be surprised because you know that I know a lot of people on the upper field."
‹..True that. Ok sorry for over reaching. See you tomorrow.›
"Bye."
With that I hanged up the call and walked towards Amanika-san.
••••••
I wonder who he got call from that he had to go away from me?
Maybe class president or SCP or someone from his line of work? I don't know.
(A/N: SCP means student council president)
While I was waiting some idiotic fuckers came towards me. The first thing that came in my mind was that I wanted to punch their fucking face .
"Hey~are you alone little sister ~?"
Fuck that is the smell of alcohol if I am not wrong. And it's disgusting how they are wearing their cloths and their talking style.
"Yew I am not alone and so? What are you gonna do about it?"
"What I am going to do about it huh? I think a slap would be a good collection on that face of yours. It would work good as a tattoo."
When I said that he seems to have gotten mad and glared at me. I also glared back at him. Now if my composure breaks than I am dead meat that for sure.
His minions grabs me by the arm. Even though I used all of my strength's I couldn't get myself free. That guy who is the leader licked his lips disgustingly.
"Now then I don't know where your sweet heart is but I will fuck you and make you scream Fri more in front of him."
He threw his hand towards my chest and when I gave up I closed my eyes. For some time I couldn't feel anything and when I opened my eyes I saw Akeshi-kun holding that guy by his mouth and had him lifted in the air.
'Please someone save me...'
•••••••
The fluorescent lights of the shopping mall flickered overhead, casting eerie shadows across the polished floors as Tarazune navigated through the bustling crowd. He was just there to get things for his and Nino's daily life, his shopping bag , which he had with himself , slung over one shoulder as he made his way towards the person with whom he came to this place. But little did he know, his peaceful afternoon would soon be shattered by the chaos of an unexpected encounter.
As he rounded a corner, he found himself face to face with two menacing figures, their eyes filled with malice as they brandished gleaming pocket knives in their hands. Tarazunes heart quickened with apprehension, but he refused to back down in the face of danger. With a steely resolve, he braced himself for the impending confrontation.
The first assailant, a burly thug with a sneer plastered across his face, lunged forward with a vicious swipe of his blade. Tarazune reacted instinctively, ducking beneath the attack and delivering a swift kick to the thug's kneecap. With a cry of pain, the assailant stumbled backward, momentarily stunned by the unexpected blow.
Seizing the opportunity, Tarazune sprang into action, his movements fueled by a combination of adrenaline and determination. With precise strikes and calculated maneuvers, he danced around his adversaries, deflecting their attacks with ease and delivering punishing blows in return.
But the two thugs were relentless, their desperation driving them to escalate the violence with each passing moment. As Tarazune dodged and weaved through their onslaught, he could feel the sting of their blades grazing his skin, leaving shallow cuts in their wake. But he refused to let the pain deter him, channeling his fear into a fierce determination to emerge victorious.
With a burst of speed, Tarazune disarmed one of his assailants, sending the pocket knife clattering to the ground with a resounding clang. But before he could celebrate his small victory, the second thug lunged forward with renewed fury, his blade glinting menacingly in the harsh mall lighting.
With lightning-fast reflexes, Tarazune narrowly evaded the attack, the blade slicing through the air just inches from his face. In a split-second decision, he seized hold of a nearby shopping cart, using it as a makeshift shield to deflect the thug's advances.
The two adversaries circled each other warily, locked in a deadly dance of skill and determination. With each passing moment, Tarazune could feel the weight of exhaustion bearing down on him, his muscles burning with exertion as he fought to maintain the upper hand.
But despite the odds stacked against him, Tarazune refused to falter. Drawing upon reserves of strength he never knew he possessed, he unleashed a flurry of blows upon his opponent, driving him back with the sheer force of his assault.
With a final, decisive strike, Tarazune incapacitated the second thug, sending him sprawling to the ground in a crumpled heap. As the echoes of the confrontation faded into the background, Tarazune stood victorious, his chest heaving with exertion but his spirit unbroken.
In the aftermath of the brawl, the once bustling mall fell silent, the normalcy of everyday life shattered by the chaos of the unexpected confrontation. But amidst the chaos and confusion, one thing remained clear: Tarazune was far more powerful than his adversaries had ever anticipated.
He walked towards the leader and looked at him. Daring him to keep of touching Nino. Feeling a great amount of fear , he let go of Nino and threw her towards Tarazune who gently grabbed her and embraces her and filled her with his warmth.
Nino also hugged him back. But this sweet moment was short lived when the leader of the goons charged at him, silently.
Tarazune eyes fell on the leader.
The leader and anyone who saw his eyes felt as if they were staring at death.
Even though it was busting with crowd and the place was quite hot they all felt as if they would freeze. And one thing was noted by the leader that he wasn't no ordinary kid. So he ran away which was the right decision. But before that he gave them a warning.,"I will make your life hell!! You damn girl!!" which was ignored by the both.
He held her and started walking her towards the car.
"No one moves if they do something bad might happen."
Tarazune said in a voice filled with anger and coldness which made no one be able to move even on muscle in their body. They felt as if a lion will eat them if they were to defy the order.
After he placed Nino at the car he smiled at Miyamoto and closed the door and went inside the mall.
He picked up the shopping bag which contained different types of stuff such as ingredients , vegetables , meats etc.
*Sigh~*. A tired sigh came out of Tarazunes mouth.
As the echoes of the chaos subside and the tension begins to dissipate, he found myself standing amidst a sea of faces, each one filled with a mixture of shock, curiosity, and perhaps even amusement. But as he gazes upon the crowd, he couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment and frustration wash over him. So be began to talk
"You, the spectators who stood idly by and watched as violence unfolded before your very eyes, what were you thinking? Did you find amusement in the suffering of others? Did you revel in the chaos, content to be mere bystanders in a moment of crisis?
While you stood there, content to be nothing more than passive observers, lives hung in the balance, and yet you did nothing. You had the power to intervene, to lend a helping hand, to make a difference. But instead, you chose complacency, allowing fear and apathy to guide your actions."
"..."
"Do you not feel the weight of guilt weighing upon your shoulders? Do you not hear the echoes of cries for help, the desperate pleas for assistance that fell upon deaf ears? Each one of you had the opportunity to be a hero, to stand up for what is right, but you chose to do nothing.
But let me make one thing clear: your inaction has consequences. By standing by and doing nothing, you become complicit in the violence and chaos that unfolded here today. You become part of the problem rather than part of the solution.
That is all." He walks away.
