Chain effect

The game had been set since the beginning, but the actual winner can never be decided in this Galaxy. Not even the Universe could dictate the winner. Even the gamers and the strings pullers are mysterious to those predators at the top. But what about the owner of the game?

(Note:The first paragraph is making reference to future occurences.)

Adam was filled with excitement when he saw how intelligent the droids were. Coordinate attack were something even humans had hard times practicing as a team, but droids like this type only need to sync memories in the quantum grid for good tactics.

"No matter how coordinated you scraps are, youcan not win against me, Adam! I never back out of a fight, and I attack head on and go all out." Adam smirked before dashing with an imense pace. He was slightly suprised by his improvements over the month. His little encounters were really significant in his quest to become stronger.

Slashes, stabs and even severing sounds echoed as mechanist's fluids, which was a type of engine oil used for droids spilled around the mountain range. Adam didn't embark on a journey of hide and sneak attacks. He was going all out with head on attacks. This was the confidence of a true warrior.

Adam's moves in combat were not near sophisticated, but his momentum was powerful enough to deal one-strike finishings on these bunch of scrapy joint metals. If that Lead amoured bear, which was considered an advanced tier beast, though the miscalculations in reading it, was enough to be called an opponent for Asam, then these droids were just playthings to catch up on old times. The army just sent the best present for Adam during the right time.

Adam used the fighting style Rhian used on him during his fight. Less complex moves, more simple moves, all just to gain momentum. If a person is fighting a horde, which has a leader called the Boss of the fight, then building momentum is the best method to perform both attacks and counter attacks. Building momentum increases the damage dealth on opponents by every strike. Even the Boss has less than fifty percent chance of surviving the one but critical strike coming his way. This was the weakness of Bosses using his foot soldiers as cannon folders to weaken or intimidate his opponents.

"Take this...Scraps! Ahh!" Adam yelled as he hacked onto another droid in mid-air, severing its head and reactor core. His next attack was a concentrated low point attack. He landed firmly on the ground, performing a revolution curve with his body crouched and boosting towards the next target and landing a firm point strike in the abdomen. Ther was noway anything could survive such powerful attack.

"What the hell is a furnace? And why wait till I reach C rank? Well I have a bunch humanoid droids with turrets and all now. So I'll have to deal with my enquiries a little lat...Fuck!"

Just then, the sound of wizzling bullets echoed in evry direction. These projectiles had one focus point, and that was Adam. Adam was having it very tough because he was prohibited from using abilities. But come to think of it, even R3 reapers don't go through such trials without their abilities, do they?

The hierarchy of the army of major forces were the same as the human federation's. The elite units were made up of superhumans whose abilities can fulfill special roles in operations. This was why all elite units had superhumans, both the one with awakenings and another with genetic augmentations thaprovides exceptional skills for them to carry out their missions.

Trrrrrrr! Grrrrrrr!

Machine guns, rail guns, turrets and even miniguns with hyper firepower, which was the innovation brought by the society of technology made this weapons deadly and powerful. The focus fire on Asam's direction was too much that he was getting pissed by this fight.

"Coordinate attacks again? The destruction caused by these droids is too high that I may die. I'll have to gather more momentum to end this fight in one crazy strike. If this fight persists longer, I'll be low on stamina."

Adam figured out a plan that would not only cause considerable effect on the battle field, but would annihilate these droids in a way that even a piece of metal would not be spared. But this type of strike could also cause chain reactions that could end up being a double edge sword nobody would love to experience.

Adam paused his steps as he tried to direct all the energy he had gathered through out this session in to his right fist. He had unequipped his double daggers a while ago while he planned a new approach. Adam had sensed the mechanism beneath the mountain and knew this mountain operated a reactor that could cause an explosion when it is made the target. The droids had delibrately not fire at some points which he had passed because there were detonator mechanism situated at those areas. The worst mistake someone could make is unintentionally revealing the flaws of your on turfs just to preserve it for future necessities.

Flash!

With immense speed, Adam continued to gather momentum, while also trying to locate where the detonated was beneath the surface. After a minute of his circular pacing, he got the actual location of the detonator.

"The detonator mechanism is in a radius distance of fifty metres. By every thirty degree point on its circumference, lies a sensor connected to the main mechanism at the center, which is where the droids stand. Good job dummy bots. You guys don't know how to play this game!"

Ignoring the fierce fire, Adam ran passed every sensor, tapping lightly on each of them to avoid instant detonation. He then counted two seconds, which was enough for him to reach the droids position. He then poured all the energy gathered by momentum into the reactor core of the largest droid sitting on the detonator. This caused the droid's reactor core to overload, causing a massive explosion that caught all other droids in it. After too much disturbance, the detonator went off at exactly five seconds, engulfing the entire mountain range. The quake xaused bythe explosion made the mountain rang to collapse. It started gradually, but started to increase its intensity.

"Oh shoot! I need to reach the last zone ASAP!"
