Chapter 84

Cersei sat up quickly. "Something is happening." Ned said and stood up. He dressed quickly. It was still very dark. It could not have been more than three hours since the feast ended.

Her husband put on his breeches and a robe. Lady Stark heard the screeches. She put her shift and robe and followed Ned who ran down the steps. Cersei followed quickly. Tyrion and Sansa followed them as well. They were all in various stages of undress.

They went out to the courtyard. The dragons circled above them. There in the courtyard were the queen and Margaery. They were also in their shifts. Robb and the prince had their swords drawn while Jon was between both men trying to stop whatever was happening. Cersei hardly felt the cold, the dragons overhead breathed fire and danced around.

Ned's voice boomed immediately. "What is the meaning of this?"

Jon seemed relieved that his father was there. "I am sure this is a misunderstanding." Her eldest son said while he had his hands extended.

"There is no mistake. The prince is sleeping with my wife." Robb thundered. Her second eldest looked murderous.

"You did not seem to mind when it was the three of us." The prince egged him on.

Lady Stark watched as Robb tried to get past Jon. "Robb this is madness. Put down your sword." Aegon smirked at her son.

Cersei turned to see the little whore. She was crying. "Robb, please I."

"She is pregnant with your bastard." Robb thundered. "I heard you two. What was the plan? You would come to the Eyrie, keep fucking my wife and then kill me." Her son continued.

Aegon laughed, "she is not important. She will give me a child. I care for you Robb but I need my son. He will rule Westeros."

Robb shook his head, "you were fucking her behind my back." He pointed his sword once more. "You are delusional."

Cersei shivered from fear when Aegon pointed at Robb in turn. "I am your prince. I can take whatever I want, including her." Aegon referred to that whore. There was a mad glint in the young man's eyes. It was that glint that all Westeros feared. There was a coin toss every time a Targaryen was born they said.

Robb looked at him, "I thought, you were my friend. You are nothing but a treacherous bastard who claims to be a Targaryen. A disloyal nobody who fucked my wife." Her son roared and finally pushed Jon aside from one stroke.

Cersei saw them sword fighting. "Stop this." She yelled. Ned called a man and asked for his sword.

Robb should not have said that. "How dare you? I am a Targaryen." The man was red with rage and attacked Robb once more.

"Ned, do something." She pleaded. It was useless. The men had pushed Jon aside and were fighting in earnest.

The dragons overhead began circling rapidly as well. They breathed fire and it was as if it were high summer. Cersei saw as Robb injured the prince's leg.

Her son was not left unscathed. The crown prince drew his sword and pierced his shoulder.

Ned finally received his sword and unsheathed it. "Enough of this." He thundered.

Neither man listened, the fighting continued until Aegon was on the floor. Robb had his sword up.

"Oh no please." That little whore cried. Cersei had half a mind to throttle her.

"Robb, put it down." Jon yelled and went to his brother. "Think of Eddard."

Robb took pause and it seemed to regain reason. Jon took away the sword. "I march today. Know that you will never see your whore again. I will throw her down the moon door myself." Robb spat and turned.

Cersei breathed easier when there was some distance between the men. Jon stayed side by side with Robb. Ned helped the prince up.

"Your grace, it would prudent if you and your party left in the morrow." The Lord of Winterfell said. He walked ahead as well.

No one expected it. No one saw it coming. It was too late for anyone to do anything. Aegon Targaryen stood up and ran a few paces. He put a sword through Robb's back. The man seemed to regret it the moment that he did. The crown prince looked like a little boy then.

Cersei did not care. She only saw her son, her child down. Cersei yelled as her boy's body fell to the snow. She went to him as did Ned. Everyone stayed rooted on their spots.

Jon had his brother on his lap. "Get the maester." He yelled at Sansa or it could have been Tyrion. Jon was trembling. Lady Stark saw all the blood pool from her child's side and understood. Cersei knew it was too late. She cried and fell to the ground next to her Robb. "Help me turn him." She said between sobs. She had to see his face one last time. It was her job to reassure him. Cersei would like to him and tell him that it would be ok.

Robb's eyes were panicked. "Mamma." He said as he spouted blood from his mouth, he looked at his brother, his mother and lastly his father. Robb's eyes became dull after a few seconds. Her pup bled out in the show. Cersei kissed his forehead and cradled him.

The maester had arrived. There were some of the men in the courtyard as well. Ned tried to hold her but she shook him off. She held Robb to her and cried. Jon stood up and howled. He ran to pick his father's sword and swung it.

Aegon's eyes opened terribly. Cersei looked at Ned who made no attempt to stop their son. They knew Jon would kill the crown prince.

Jon's cries were haunting as he struck down Aegon Targaryen. The blonde man had barely any time to stand up and fight back.

It was quick. Daenerys Stormborn clutched her belly and ran to them "No, stop." It was futile. There was too much noise and the dragons flew lower. The cream one with the gold markings flew down lower. He seemed too excited.

"You coward." Jon yelled and pierced Aegon's throat.

Cersei felt some relief at the scene. That small relief turned into horror as she saw the queen and understood what was happening. Daenerys Stormborn ran to Jon but was too late.

"Viserion, no!" The girl yelled and ran. Jon looked up. Cersei saw as the dragon breathed fire.

No one could have stopped the girl either. She ran to Jon as he was engulfed by the flames.
