Chapter 36: Patch 0.000090

Hello there, dear players!

It's been a while, right? I hope you all are enjoying my game. I've read all the reports, complaints, and suggestions that have been sent since day one, and after weeks of hard work with my developers, we've finally released Patch 0.000090 where we'll implement YOUR ideas for Arcadia 2! But before showing everything that came with this update, I'd like to have a little chat with you...

I completely understand that the game might not be exactly what you believed it to be, but remember that this is just the Beta Test, everything will change for the better if you help me. We still have a long way to go before the official launch of the game, so please...

Stop trying to leave.

Anyway, here's the full version 0.000090 patch notes, hope y'all enjoy:

[Content]

New critical damage system: Before this update, only enemies and certain specific skills were capable of dealing critical damage, but that's in the past now! Now EVERY ability has a 1% chance to land a critical hit that multiplies the damage up to 10 times.

Of course, there are some small rules: the attack needs to hit something to have a chance of being critical. For balancing reasons, you also need to put all possible strength into that hit. Luck stats can influence the critical chance (10 points in Luck → +0.1%).

New buff item: Along with this new system, we've also added items that can increase your critical chance or damage. They can be found in dungeons or dropped by enemies.

[Reworks/Balancing:]

Whisper Tamer Reworked AGAIN (Hope this time, for good): Increased the amount of mana needed to summon a Whisper, and now the user is limited to summoning 5 Whispers at a time (Can increase at level 400).

House Creation System: Customize your own home in Arcadia 2! Build and decorate with furniture, cultivate rare plants, and even create secret dungeons for your friends (or enemies) to explore.

[Fixes:]

Reworked NPCs AI.

Fixed the bug where you could go through the floor of the Black Leaf Dungeon.

Fixed humans having 6 fingers sometimes.

Somehow, a few people actually found a way to bypass our copyright censorship, we fixed that, but need to admit, impressive.

Fixed the bug where NPC characters occasionally started reciting Shakespeare dialogues for no apparent reason.

Fixed the bug where players could create invisibility potions that lasted forever, except when the character wore a hat (For some reason, this broke the invisibility).

Fixed the AI issue where the carnivorous plants in the Lazuli Forest became vegetarian, refusing to attack players.

Fixed the bug where, upon collecting 100 berries, your character would automatically start singing an annoying song that was impossible to stop (Sorry to everyone who had to go through this!).

Adjusted the bug where NPC vendors sometimes decided they were tired of trading and simply closed their shops permanently.

Resolved the bug where some players could fish up absurd items like mountains or entire continents.
