Hecate's vision blurred as she looked at her computer screen, having worked more than 86 hours. It was not the first or second time this year that Hecate had been held at her job for days on end. This was not due to her making mistakes or due to the job being tedious; it was more like her superior pushing his workload onto her, and she was unable to report it due to the superior being related to the CEO. She could only accept the work as she had no other source of income.
After spending another hour typing away, Hecate finally submitted the report. Hecate looked at the time on the screen, which displayed 23:00. Seeing that there was still time before the last train, she stood and stretched before putting on her coat and shutting down the computer. She went straight to the elevator and got to the ground floor. She met the night guard at the receptionist's stand and signed off after 4 days of work. She exited the office building and walked past the closed shops and cafes in the direction of the station. After a 30-minute walk, she arrived at the underground station and waited for the train at the platform.
At 00:00, the sound of the approaching train was heard. This prompted Hecate to walk towards the yellow line on the platform, as she took some steps forward a wave of dizziness struck causing her to stumble over the line, thus bringing her to the very edge of the platform. The train was fast approaching its stop, when the guard coming down the stairs onto the platform immediately spotted her and let out a scream, "Hey! Get back from there this instance."
Hecate was startled by the scream leading her to notice her predicament. She turned to walk back across the line, but slipped on a can of beverage that was not properly disposed leading her to fall on the tracks of the oncoming train.
Realising there was no way of surviving this Hecate's last thoughts were, "I can finally rest and sleep without ever being bothered." As funny as the thought was it was indeed what she desired the most after working for 86 hours with little to no breaks. With this thought in mind her world was immediately devoid of sound and light as the trains initial impact knocked her out which lead to slightly painless death as she could not feel her body being torn by the train.
This would have been the perfect ending for Hecate, except it was not. She woke up in a completely blank space that had no end in sight. She got up and walked for what seemed to be the length of 30 metres before running into an invisible wall, which was quite a shock. Hecate decided to walk along the wall, and soon she noticed that rather than being in a place that looked like it had no end, she was trapped in a plane circular room with a diameter of roughly 60 metres.
After circling the room a few more times she walked back to what she assumed was the centre of the room and sat down cross-legged on the floor awaiting her fate.

After what felt like hours she was beginning to feel uncomfortable and antsy. That was when she heard something that made her blood run cold or would have made her blood run cold if she still had a body and was not just a soul.

[Hello, Hecate. My name is System ...]
" Stop right there! I don't need to know your name because I am not agreeing to any of this!" Hecate exclaimed.
