As both Alice and the officer got inside the room, they saw Jason sitting on the chair with dead eyes and Vijay standing while watching him with cold eyes.

"What happened here?..."

I screamed as I glared at Vijay waiting to know the answers...

Hearing me Vijay turned around me with a calm look as if he knew that I was coming here and going to ask this question...

"Nothing, I just asked some questions him and tried to intimidate him but suddenly he started to scream like a madman. I think we should first send him to a mental hospital."

Vijay spoke with a disappointed look on his face as he answered my question, while I narrowed my eyes.

I turned towards Jason, who was sitting there motionless, anyone could tell by just looking in his eyes that he was devastated, the look in his eyes was of a person who had lost everything in his life...

"What did you say to make him look like that..."

I asked with a suspicious look on my face, as I knew that Vijay was hiding something from me and I wanted the answers.

"As I told you, I am not hiding anything, I just questioned him and tried to intimidate him but he started to scream in horror..."

Vijay said and shook his head, while I still looked at him with a suspicious gaze...

"How did you intermediate him?..."

I still asked not letting the matter go away so easily...

"Just some normal threads, like how a normal cop or a detective would use..."

He said while I still looked at him with a suspicious gaze as I tried to ask more questions but got cut off by the officer.

"I think we should focus on this guy, though I don't know what you have done with him but we can't leave him like this."

He spoke as I looked towards him and then turned towards Jason whose face looked completely disfigured due to the tears and that hollow dead look on his face...

"What information did you get from him..."

I asked him still hoping to get some kind of helpful information out of him, but Vijay looked towards me with a disappointed look and shook his head.

"As I told you, he got like this in between my interrogation, so I didn't get anything useful out of him..."

Vijay spoke and somehow, I still felt suspicious but shook my head as I turned towards the officer...

"You can take him with you and if you find something then do tell me..."

I spoke and hearing me the officer nodded his head and took Jason away with him...

"Well looks like our team is much better than anyone, I mean we were easily able to solve two cases without any problems back to back."

Vijay spoke as I narrowed my eyes and recalled the previous case we had worked together...

"Tell me what is your agenda... What do you want?..."

I spoke while looking towards him, but he didn't answer anything and just looked towards me, his eyes made me feel a little bit uncomfortable, his eyes they were..... Empty.....His eyes didn't look human to me.

It was much different than Jason's hollow eyes they, those eyes were dead looked like a person who had lost everything but his eyes..... They look so empty as if.....his eyes would overwhelm the whole planet...

"Are you free tomorrow....."

Then suddenly Vijay spoke while looking towards me with a calm look and hearing him I came out of my retrieve as I narrowed my eyes.

"Why??..."

I asked him as I looked towards him with a suspicious gaze.

"Nothing there was a good movie which had launched three days ago it's a very famous Detective base movie with a thrilling plot into it..."

He spoke with a small sly smile on his face and my interest peaked in the Matter...

But I shook my head as I looked towards him with a calm look and said.

"How is this related to our investigation..."

"It's not, I just thought it would be good to go out after all I had two tickets on me and I don't have anyone with me who could go with me, and going there alone is not my thing..."

He spoke as I shuddered a little bit but was able to control myself...

"But yes if you don't like it then, I can throw the tickets or probably give them to anyone else... I don't mi..."

"Let's go then, we can't waste your money like that, tell me the time and the place we are going to meet..."

That's it, I can't hold myself more, I like these types of films, it would be a waste to not go and see them...

"OK, I will tell you later, but now we should go..."

He spoke and I nodded my head as we both left the hotel, while a little excitement was inside my heart for tomorrow's movie...

VIJAY POV

As we walked inside the main building, I couldn't help but think about the interrogation...

'Haa... It seems that my old self hasn't lost my side till now...'

I thought to myself with a calm look on the exterior to not let anyone know what I was thinking...

After going inside I talked with the government Detective, as to where we had to meet tomorrow and at what time we had to meet...

After which I left because there was nothing for me to do, as I walked inside my room, I couldn't help but feel a very different feeling inside my heart and that was guilt, it was a very unfamiliar feeling for me...

'If it would have been the old me then...'

I thought to myself as I considered the possibility of the case going south because I lost some control of my emotions there...

1 HOUR AGO

"So I am going to ask some very simple questions and you have to answer them simply..."

I spoke to the guy who was sitting in front of me while his hands were bound by thick ropes...

"And what if I don't answer you then..."

The guy spoke to me and I just looked at him with a calm and silence...

"Jason Mecaroni, I don't think you can handle the consequences then..."

I spoke with a chilly look on my face...

"Do your worst bastard!!..."

He spoke to me while I shook my head, I thought I didn't have to do this...

"Do you know about Helena..."

I spoke to him and his expression changed for a second but then he took control of his emotions, but that second was enough for me to observe the doubt and worry in his heart....

"Who is Helena..."

"She is your sick daughter, who is right now inside Trust Hood Hospital..."

As I said a shocked look came on his face but this time it didn't go away I just continued to speak...

"She is currently suffering from lung carcinoma 2nd stage and after your wife passed away she is the only family you had left..."

I spoke while looking at the guy in silently...

"She is living right oxygen support right now and you need £8,252 for her treatment but you don't have that much money with you, that's why you do these types of work..."

As I said a look of disbelief and shock came upon his face...

"Now think what would happen if someone pulled out the oxygen mask from her face..."

A big Evil smile came upon my face as I said...

"What do you think how much longer will she survive..."

I spoke to him and his body started to tremble.

"No... You won't do that... You are a detective... You can't do that..."

He tried to speak with his trembling voice and I just looked at his eyes with a cold look...

Then I walked close to him as my eyes came close to his and with a cold look, I spoke...

Then I walked back and picked up my phone and a ring sounded from him...

"Hello, sir..."

Suddenly a voice came from my phone as I spoke to the voice...

"Do you find her..."

As I spoke the above lines Jason's eyes got bigger as he looked toward me...

"Yes sir, she is right now in front of me, what should I do with her..."

"Hold..."

As I spoke, I looked at the person in front of me and spoke...

"Jason you don't have much time... I will count to three before answering my question..."

"What question you didn't ask anything of me...."

He spoke with a loud voice and I just spoke calmly...

"You know what I want to hear, so don't act like you don't know anything..."

" Now Jason I have lots of time on my hands but it seems you and your daughter just have 3 seconds..."

"3..."

As I said I started to count slowly and a look of worry came upon Jason's face...

"2..."

"Steven Rederick...."

Jason screamed as he looked at me with hatred and fear...

"Hold..."

I spoke and then asked further questions...

"Who is this Steven and why is he doing this..."

"I don't know much but, I know one thing if you want to know who sent me then you have to go to him... You will find him near....."

As he spoke, I just listened to him with a calm and cold look on my face.

"That's it I don't know anything else..."

He spoke with eyes filled with hatred...

"You didn't tell me everything...."

I spoke as his eyes widened in horror...

"Wh....what are... You speaking... I told you everything..."

"Not everything..."

As I said t picked up my phone and pressed it and spoke...

"Do it..."

Cough cough...

"Ha..ha..ha..."

Suddenly someone coughing sound started to come from my phone...

"No, put the mask back please, she can't survive much longer without an oxygen mask... Please I beg you, I told you everything...."

He begged in front of me as I looked at him with cold eyes and didn't say anything...

"You can save her, just tell me everything you know...."

"I told you everything, please don't she will die, she is just 9 years old..."

"Don't try to fool me, Jason the more time you take the less will be left for your daughter..."

I spoke as I calmly looked at him.

"Please if I spoke more than it then they will kill my daughter..."

He spoke but I didn't say anything and just looked at him with cold eyes...

"Haaaa ha....ha..h...ha....."

Suddenly the struggle stopped no more voice came from the phone...

"Sir it seems, she is no more..."

The voice spoke from the phone as I pressed my phone and just put it back in my pocket...

"It was your mistake, if weren't able to make sense of the situation, you were thinking about the future but never thought of the present...."

"Aaaaaaa..aaaa...aaaaaa"

Suddenly the guy screamed as his eyes turned hollow and dead....

"You monster... You killed my daughter...you bastard...."

"I told you it was you who killed her, I gave you the chance to save her but you didn't take it and just took the side with your fear...."

Hearing me he turned silent but tears could be seen coming from his eyes...

"I will kill you...."

"No, you won't do you know why..."

As I spoke I leaned towards him and spoke...

"Because you are scared...."

As I said this, his eyes turned hollow again but this time he didn't say anything and just sat there with a dead look on his face....

As I walked a little far and just looked at him with a cold look...

THUD

"What happened here?..."

I knew Alice and the officer were coming because I had calculated the minimum time it would take her to bring the officer here...

I just turned towards her and spoke with a smile on my face...

"Nothing, I just asked some questions to him and tried to intimidate him but suddenly he started to scream like a madman. I think we should first send him to a mental hospital."
