The man, named Biskin, was a merchant from a town in the East Blue who had unfortunately encountered a shipwreck while sailing. The crew members scattered in an attempt to save themselves.

With no other options, he clung to a piece of wreckage, barely surviving in the open sea.

"A shipwreck? But that doesn't make sense. The merchants we met earlier mentioned that the East Blue has been calm these days, ideal for business!" Aqua, for once, showed a glimmer of intelligence and immediately questioned his story.

Caught off guard by her query, a flicker of astonishment passed through Biskin's eyes before he explained that they had encountered a barely detectable undersea current, typically hard to predict in advance.

"So, you're just really unlucky then," Aqua commented.

It was quite a day when the goddess of misfortune herself pondered over someone else's bad luck…

"Please, I beg of you, don't cast me away. I'll do anything. Just let me stay until I can contact my family on an inhabited island. I won't be any trouble at all!" Biskin pleaded, kneeling on the ground. Perhaps recalling his harrowing experience adrift made him shiver uncontrollably.

"Really?" Aqua perked up, her aqua-blue eyes glinting with cunning.

There were plenty of chores to be done on the floating restaurant. Zyhark cooked and managed the accounts, King steered and checked the course, and she handled cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, etc., with both sharing the responsibility of serving orders.

In short, there was no shortage of odd jobs.

If she could offload some of these tasks, wouldn't she have more leisure time?

"Yes, I might struggle with specialized tasks, but I can definitely handle basic chores!" Biskin quickly showcased his eagerness, seeing a glimmer of hope to stay.

Aqua was delighted with his response: "Alright then, you can stay."

"Thank you so much!" Biskin was visibly moved.

Zyhark, surprisingly, didn't object to Aqua's unilateral decision and agreed by default. He stood up, addressing Biskin, "Alright, but remember, we're not a charity. If you can't cut it, back to the sea with you."

"I understand, thank you!"

Biskin expressed his gratitude again, his stomach embarrassingly growling right after.

"Let's make you some food first, then we can find you some clothes," Zyhark said, casting a glance at Biskin before heading to the kitchen, muscles subtly ready to respond to any potential attack from Biskin.

Or more precisely, from the East Blue's tyrant, Don Krieg's pirate crew's combat commander, Gin the Man-Demon!

"I'll have a fried chicken leg, thanks!" Aqua seized the moment to request a snack.

"You just ate, didn't you?"

"Repairing the ship is very tiring!"

"Alright, wait then."

Zyhark was slightly surprised that Gin showed no sign of hostility even as he began cooking. Instead, Gin appeared remarkably calm, sitting at the dining table.

Isn't it usually the tactic to feign weakness before suddenly attacking?

Interesting…

While Zyhark was uncertain of Gin's elaborate plan to infiltrate the Endless Dream, it was clear they were likely targeted by the Krieg Pirate Crew!

Just when Zyhark lamented the lack of troublesome pirates coming to dine and dash, a big fish had seemingly jumped into the net.

Capturing the wealth of the Krieg Pirate Crew, which possessed a fleet, could significantly bolster their funds before venturing into the Grand Line.

Thus, Zyhark decided to play along, curious about their motives.

Of course, Gin's personal character played a part. Despite being Krieg's top enforcer, Gin was depicted as quite honorable in the original story, choosing to suffer poison gas himself rather than deprive Sanji, to whom he owed a meal, of a gas mask.

With considerable potential, Gin's strength could overshadow Sanji's from two years prior. His line, "See you in the Grand Line," sparked numerous speculations among fans, giving rise to the meme "Everything is Gin."

Apologies for the digression.

In essence, Zyhark had no immediate plans to subdue Gin, opting instead to wait and see how the Krieg Pirate Crew would make their move.

During the cooking, Gin quietly observed the Endless Dream's crew. The restaurant's owner, Zyhark, seemed kind and always had a gentle smile. However, Gin felt an unnerving warmth in Zyhark's gaze, as if seeing treasure.

Aqua, with her striking blue eyes, was evidently a water-type Devil Fruit user, as her water-pouring trick revealed. Her strength, however, was harder to gauge, though being a reputed ability user suggested significant power.

Lastly, there was the man with three scars across his face—King. Gin avoided direct eye contact, intimidated by King's mere presence, which exuded overwhelming pressure without a single action.

"Captain Krieg's caution makes sense. This group, especially the blond man, is not someone ordinary pirates can handle," Gin concluded, seeing King as the Endless Dream's most dangerous individual.

Unbeknownst to Gin, King, lost in thought about upgrading his dumbbells from 10kg to 15kg, posed no immediate threat.

Soon, with the sound of the stove turning off, a plate of fragrant fried rice and a golden-brown chicken leg were served by Zyhark.

"Eat up, then get ready to work," Zyhark placed the rice before Gin, casually tossing the chicken leg, which Aqua caught and devoured happily.

"Thank you."

Gin began eating voraciously, having drifted for nearly three hours to make his encounter with the Endless Dream appear accidental. He was famished.

"This is delicious!"

Gin couldn't help but praise the meal, genuinely satisfied by the flavor.

Aqua, with a bottle of cold beer in hand, approached Gin, "Biskin, Zyhark might be a bit stern and stingy, but his cooking is truly excellent!"

She placed a bottle in front of Gin, welcoming the new member who would soon take over her chores, though primarily motivated by her desire for another drink.
