Adriana's head was bowed in embarrassment as she listened to the kids narrating everything she had told them about their Dad to him.

Years back, Emelio and Emiliano would bombard her with questions, asking why their Dad was never there with them. She was the busy type, managing her restaurant alone wasn't some easy task. Yet, she knew how her kids felt whenever their classmates told them stories about their Dad.

On a particular day, Emelio had asked her. "Mommy, don't we have a Daddy?" As much as his question sounded innocent, it broke Adriana's heart. It made her remember her first love, the one whom she had left shattered.

"Daddy?" She smiled. She gestured them to come closer and pulled them to her body. Slowly, she caressed their hair as she uttered words that relieved their minds.

"Do you want me to tell you a story about your Daddy?" She asked. They nodded simultaneously and she smiled.
