A SENSE OF FAMILIARITY

Even if Zhang Hei had deliberately tried to finish his work as soon as possible so that he could focus on training the new trainee in the company, he was still caught up with some work that morning, and his secretary was one to blame.

Lu Ran came to his office with a stack of documents that he needed to sign, and he let out a heavy sigh before doing what he needed to do.

"I haven't even taken a shower yet, but you already came to disturb me," Zhang Hei annoyedly complained, and Lu Ran showed a guilty smile on her face upon hearing the complaint.

"You still look handsome even if you haven't taken a shower yet, sir," the secretary replied.

Hearing what she said, Zhang Hei looked up from the documents, and he furrowed his brows at the woman before asking, "Do you think I look like an eggplant?"

"Huh? What do you mean, sir?" Confusedly, Lu Ran asked back instead of answering.
