Food Poisoning

Let's cause some mischief.

In a split second, all of Roselia's regrets flooded her senses. A single act of rebellion—love. A secret so small between a boy and a girl, yet could bring the downfall of two families. A nature that she knew was forbidden, but she indulged in what she shouldn't. Now, look at where that mischief got her.

Roselia touched the mark on her neck. Anna's gaze followed. Anna stopped smiling. Altogether. The scar was thick and pale, no longer angry from the years spent healing. Three years to be exact since the mischief tore into her skin, digging until blood flowed, and she learned to howl. Not as a wolf, but as a girl screaming and shrieking, begging for it all to end.

"Let's be good, okay?" Roselia whispered.

The word "good" almost unnerved Anna, her left eye twitching. "There's no harm in being a little devious, Roselia. Girls aren't just made of sugar, we're also tainted with spice. Come on, live a little—"

"No, thank you."
