The Great Betrayal

"Throw her into the firepit!", that voice ordered.

"Yes master!", he lifted her up and went near the fire pit.

"No! don't throw her! She can't die!", an old man in his 80's with all his skin shrunk, shouted as he entered the cave.

Black monster dropped her down.

"How dare you to order around my son ?",that voice from the darkness questioned the old man in a serious tone.

"I beg for your forgiveness my lord! How can a lowly being like me could ever develop guts to order around at your place ? I heard that you have majestic powers and you could even save a dead person."

"Only because of that, I came here....to..to find a solution for my grandson's incurable disease. And I found that a divine aura was emanating from her. That's why I stopped him my lord!"

"Then what about you, my son? How could you act rashly without my concern? How could you follow around other's words when your master is right in front of you ?", that voice questioned the Black monster.

"My apologies master! I acted without thinking! I will accept any punishment if offered."

"Your mistakes.., make sure they are not repeated.. or else you'll be the one to be devoured by the fire !", that bloody voice resonated in the dark.

"Yes master!"

"And send that girl to me now!", that demonic voice ordered.

He stood her up and pushed her into the darkness.

She walked for a brief distance badly trembling with fear. There was a foul stench of blood. As she got closer, the stench became heavier.

"Stop there!", that voice ordered. "Take her away my son!"

Black monster went inside and dragged her out.

"Mm... what you said was indeed true you old beggar. I will cure your grandson and before that, you should help me with something", that voice said sarcastically.

"I am ready to help you with anything my lord!", that old man replied. Julia sensed that something terrible was about to happen.

"Then go become a human sacrifice for me...!", a strong force of wind imported the old man into the fire pit.

Julia knew that the old man is dead and all this shit she has to undergo was solely because of whatever entity it is that is hiding inside the darkness.

"Ha ha ha ha... you may go now my son and get your worker girl with you", that voice chuckled.

Julia clearly heard that old man's death cry as she fainted.

He lifted her up.

"Hear my instructions clearly now!", That demonic voice started to instruct him.

"My son, it's time to step into the human world now. You must use every means to stay close with your worker girl and watch her closely. I need more information about her. May be we could use that divine aura of hers to awake more demons into the world. Ha ha ha ha..."

"And one more thing ,never trust or get close with humans. They are quite dangerous."

"Ok master!"

"Remember my son! Never let humans find out about your identity or else I would have to destroy the entire human race. Ughh! It will be such a waste of time for me! So be cautious!"

Black monster nodded his head and left the cave.

Julia slightly opened her eyes. Both of her parents were staring at her in a creepy way.

"Gauuuddddd ! The same thing happened again? I always wake up safely in my bed somehow. I think this soft bed of mine brings good fortune to me. That's why whatever life threatening situations I face in the nights, I can still be able to wake up alive on this bed again. May be this bed has some magical powers!", she started examining her bed.

"Ouch!", her mom throwed a pillow at her head.

"What are you searching for in your bed early in the morning Julia?"

She gave that foolish smile again.

"Nothing much mom!"

"Great gods, I can't differentiate dream from reality now. I am damn sure yesterday's incident was real. That damn psychotic scum!!! How daring he must be to set me up. I still can't believe that I am breathing alive now! It's all my fault! I shouldn't have believed him. That's why I got betrayed badly. I hope that I could never see him again! Not even in my scariest nightmares!", she thought to herself as she frowned.

"Mom! How did I get home last night?"

"Your boyfriend carried you here all by himself", her mom said with a smile.

"You don't even remember it now?", her dad yelled at Julia.

"Sweety, Did you really forgot what happened yesterday? He even kissed you", her mom giggled.

"WHAT ?????????!!!!!!"
