Myra seemed happy when I called her in and asked her to assist me with my bath. After drying my hair and helping me change into a set of comfortable t-shirt and jeans, Myra looked at me from head to toe with a huge smile on her face. "You look ready to conquer the world, Ms. Valerie."

I smiled, feeling somewhat guilty for pushing Myra away, my biggest supporter in my new home. "Thank you, Myra. And sorry for shutting you out lately. I wasn't in a great state, mentally speaking."

"I understand that. But you should learn to lean on others every now and then." She held my hand and looked at me with tender eyes. "You are not alone anymore, Ms. Valerie. This is your new home, and we are your new family. So, if you ever feel downcast again, please try to lean on us. You don't have to bear your troubles alone."
