My Side

"Vallie!" Luna Rudina greeted me with a wide smile and warm hug the moment she stepped inside the living room–used exclusively by her and the alpha–where Caleb and I were waiting for her. "It's so good to see you here."

I felt a surge of warm feeling in my chest as I was enveloped in the luna's arms. "Luna. It's good to see you too." I gave her a polite bow and then smiled at her.

The luna looked up and down at me and questioned me with a hint of worry in her tone, "How are you these days? Is your shoulder getting better? I heard that you've started going for the physiotherapy sessions these days." Her gaze shifted to Caleb for a split second before landing back on me.

I was slightly surprised that the luna knew about it because that meant Caleb apparently talked about me. It made me feel better, just a little better, like a drop better.
