Chapter 7: understand the mechanics

I only got 1 day for this journey, otherwise I gotta find an excuse for my both school and workplace. It's seriously annoying when it comes to finding excuses. As a 15 year old man who's still at school, this is my responsibility. There's no turning back. I decided to go to the train station first, and then travel to the place I wanted to go although I'm not sure if it existed or not. Well you gotta try when you can.

After some time, I finally reached the train station. The train station was less crowded than it usually does, that makes me excited to know about it. Since I don't even have to wait for another train to come by because it's full, aight time to go to umm.....

I never seen a place named "Hamafugi hometown" in my entire geography's entire career! There's something that must be going on there.

"Sigh.. at least his reason is completely reasonable, I can't be a friend If I don't understand them right lol?" Says Eneru.

This is totally unbelievable, such forces and power. I'm sure he can destroy the earth if he wants to or maybe other planet like Jupiter or something.. I believe that he got the power from somewhere in the deep dark. I don't trust that he got it by just spending all his efforts on both training strength and speed, endurance as well. Experiencing this type of stuff is difficult, I don't think a skinny man like he is can ever do over 10 thousand push up Inbjust few minutes. It will take him at least an hour or more. Even if he is strong, he won't be able to do that. A shockwave? Isn't that the shockwave before back from the hallway I witnessed? That's odd, it's supposed to be gone away by now. I'm afraid to keep this shockwave thingy inside me. If something bad happened, I might end up getting my legs running again..

Geez 2 hours have gone by, and we're still in the train. How long and how far even is this place? Hey look at the outside! It's so... BEAUTIFUL! Where on earth is this place even came from. From the bottom of the sea? Eh.. whatever, I guess we're near Hamafugi's hometown now, aren't we?

I can't wait to explore the place. "This better be worth it, travelling here costs around 200 bucks..price gets really pricey these days."

"Talking about that! We were on the train and I haven't even shown you the tick yet damn it... Wait what was I doing on the train again?"

I imagine myself clapping my head after hearing that... " Of course, you're sleeping..what else were you thinking other than that. And the places from our surrounding isn't really that beautiful to be honest.

We walked out of the train station and sees many thousands of house and mini house. 1 fountain and 3 apartment, there doesn't seems like there is restaurants here. "THEN WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO EAT...THE SUN IS SETTING, IM HUNGRY THOUGH.." Really dude? Didn't he eaten some beef just few minutes ago back in the train station? This man forgets quicker than me like for real. I don't have anything else to say so I'll just ignore him and walk towards the town.

Where's everyone? Are they hiding or something..

It seems like there is a statue in the middle of the town. A statue I have seen from my dream, but isn't this the same woman as the woman from my dream!? It says that "This lady protected this city from Extinction, without her. The town will be gone forever. Born: 2004, Death: 2019." Wait so you're saying that this lady passed away 2 few months ago?? But I can clearly see her from my dream.. talking about dream, why wasn't I able to see her and go to the world of mist and stuff.. something's really really off in this town. If only I could be her until her death.. Not sure really..hmm? That woman looks familiar. Isn't that the same person as the statue? Wait.. No, this can't be. The statue is lying, she's right over there! I ran towards her and followed her to the mountain.

This is my only opportunity to finally understand how the dream power mechanic worked. I feel exhausted but I can't stop here now!

If I stopped here right now, I won't be able to defeat that red king in my dream and won't be able to meet her again anywhere else. It's almost the end of the mountain.. why isn't she tired yet.. huh? She..jumped off the mountain? No way.. I'll get to see it when I finally reach the mountain. Where did the light come from? I can't see. My eyes, it keeps flashing ahead of me.. a wind going towards me? Seriously? I can barely walk to the end of the mountain now. Grunting and Groaning at a time like this.. feels unreal. Don't tell me I'm in a dream again.. It must be weird to find a place like this out of a thousand people.. Just a few more steps closer! A little more. Exhaustion, Heavy Breathing.

I- I finally reached it..

Flash before my eyes, I see paradise.. my eye pupils go larger than usual. I can now say that my entire dream was, indeed Real. This is the exact place I have dreamt about! Now the only left is that woman. From my point of view, I can clearly see anything and they are visible right in front of my eyes! Is this how it will all come to an end?

"Hey, you're that guy from a person's dream right. Why did you come here? To see me?" Says the girl

"Eh.. from your attitude, your personality is different from the ones I had in my dream. What happened to you?"

"Well guess what? You're also weird from the attitude of yours! You saved me once and now you're looking family friendly? What a nice trick you got there, creep." What? I saved her? No way I'm sure that's a different person. This town is bizarre.. "also.. I can't help but thank you so much for saving me, but how are you still alive now after replacing with me?" I was hugged by her after that.. I can't say anything but I saved her? This must be all wrong... There's have to be a plot twist after that! I don't believe that I'm the one who saved her..

"well this is my place, I can read mind ya' know. I guess I know that this isn't you, it's probably your past or future of you came to this universe just to save me from something happened to their universe" a time travelling and now, a multiverse Teleportation? Dang.. I can't imagine millions of me travelling universe to universe in the future..

"yeah I guess so..but to me, it's still your the one who helped me. And umm.. sorry about just now I was kinda angry that you replaced me.."

"Hey, uhm do you want me to join you on your journey or something..? You look alone going into different dimensions and timelines." I proudly nodded and then responded "I'd be very glad to accept your request if you like." That was kinda embarrassing for me to say that, I could have said no and used other sentences. Oh shoot I forgot she could read mind here- "nope you answered it, this way you wanted me to join in the first place. You're not wrong though, I recently just made a friend with someone else who is just like us."

No I don't meant about the dream or nightmare from your sleep. I meant the hallway you entered was mine, the reason why you don't feel like a god there that's because I had to hide so you wouldn't know I'm the one behind all those.

There are rules in my mind that I can't say in order to keep myself covered. Ever since I started to depressed my friend LcE told me he has rules in his life that he can't say, till this day. He still hasn't told me his name even throughout the discord.

I decided to follow just like how he lived as this type of person. This is the only option I have.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and saw new messages.

Oh yeah by the way these noodles are super delicious. Let's come here some days later again, I'll wait for you here until you come pick me up so we can head back to our main city.

Oh geez, because of me fell asleep. I made him wait for hours and hours now, wait where is he going? Don't tell me he's going back to the city without me!

I rushed to the door and ran out of the house to see if Eneru was still there or not.

Several minutes later, I finally got to the noodle shop! Uncle, have you seen a man eating noodles here? Well yes but he left just recently.

Where did he go? He said that he's going home. What's up with him anyway, he surp all of our noodles and soups each minute. But that made us impressed when he said that the taste is too good. We let him go with no charge because of that! Crazy that this man- oh he left too.. oh welp.
