Chapter 115- The Emerald Twilight, Reaper's Terror, and the Phantom Zone Escape - Part 2

Earth

A month had passed since the Saiyan warship's departure from Earth. While discussions and speculations about the impending conflict between Orach and the Green Lanterns initially dominated public discourse, life gradually returned to its normal rhythm for most of Earth's inhabitants.

The most notable change came from Wayne Tech's successful launch of the Medpod in select hospitals. The revolutionary medical technology sent ripples through the healthcare industry, with hospital administrators and medical directors worldwide rushing to secure orders for their facilities, exceeding projections that Wayne Tech's analysts had predicted.

In Orach's laboratory, his team remained diligent. After completing their reassigned projects from his year-long absence, they returned to find not only their new colleague, Victor Fries, but also an extensive list of preparatory tasks Orach had left for them, all groundwork for the new projects they would undertake upon his return from Oa.

Victor's integration into Wayne Tech hadn't been without challenges. Despite his criminal past as Mr. Freeze, Bruce Wayne personally intervened with his legal team to help navigate the lawsuits from Victor's victims until his presidential pardon came through. Though Victor knew his second chance stemmed partly from fear of his new master's power, he remained genuinely grateful for the opportunity.

"Everything is so different," Nora would often say to Victor as they explored their new world together. "The skyline, the technology - it's like walking through a dream."

While she appreciated their newfound security and Victor's happiness in the laboratory, Nora harbored mixed feelings about their situation. "I'm grateful for our protection," she confided in Victor one evening, "but sometimes I worry about the price of serving someone so powerful."

"I understand," Victor replied softly, taking her hand. "But Lord Orach gave us more than protection - he gave us a future together. That's worth any price to me."

But just as things were going their way, Wayne Tech's rising prominence didn't come without complications. Military leaders and Military-affiliated politicians began pressuring the company to share its revolutionary technology with defense departments. However, Bruce Wayne, backed by the Justice League, stood firm on their policy of keeping the technology strictly for civilian medical use.

"The Medpod technology will remain in civilian hands as per our agreement with Orach," Bruce had stated during a press conference. "Its purpose is to heal, not harm. It truly is a gift to humanity. As such, we must uphold our end of the bargain—that is non-negotiable."

Speaking of the Justice League, they handled major threats while the Teen Titans protected Jump City and its surroundings. With Donna Prince or Wonder Girl now wearing the Wonder Woman mantle, the team was nearly at full strength, missing only Rachel "Raven" from their original roster. Though Wonder Girl in the Wonder Woman armor sparked initial controversy and comparisons to her sister Diana, she remained focused on her duties, earning admiration from those she protected.

On what should have been a peaceful afternoon in Jump City, Barbara, Kori, Donna, and Karen were enjoying a rare day off, browsing shops in their civilian clothes. Their shopping spree was interrupted by the sound of breaking glass and screaming from a nearby bank.

"So much for our day off," Barbara sighed, reaching for her uniform in her bag.

"Just had to ruin our fun. These criminals really have the worst timing," Kori added, her eyes beginning to glow.

The team sprang into action, with Starfire and Wonder Girl providing cover while Batgirl and Bumblebee changed into their uniforms. The bank robbers, caught between the police and the heroes, didn't stand a chance. Starfire's precise starbolts disabled their weapons, while Donna disarmed them with practiced efficiency. Batgirl finished the job, her batarangs binding their legs.

As they were securing the scene, a sudden disturbance caught their attention. Wonder Girl let out a startled gasp, whirling around with fury blazing in her eyes. Above them, a figure hovered with a arrogant smirk.

"Not bad for an Amazon," the man sneered, floating just beyond reach. "Though I must say, you're more... impressive up close. Nice and firm."

Donna's face contorted with rage as she realized what had just happened. The perverted creep had dared to inappropriately grope her behind, without consent. In one fluid motion, she unsheathed her sword, its metal gleaming in the sunlight.

"You dare dishonor an Amazon warrior?" she snarled, as she launched herself towards her attacker with the grace of her training. "I'll teach you the price of such disrespect!"

The other Titans immediately moved to support their teammate, recognizing that this was no ordinary confrontation.

"Haha... What's wrong, Amazon? You should be honored by my attention," sneered the man as he easily dodged the blade with inhuman speed. "After all, not many get such... personal treatment from a New God."

"A New God?" Starfire gasped, her hands glowing with energy. "Be careful, Wonder Girl!"

"I am Orion of New Genesis," he proclaimed, generating a shield of cosmic energy to deflect Donna's next strike. "And you Earth women need to learn proper respect."

Wonder Girl's eyes narrowed as her expression turned ugly. "And you need to learn that creeps like you don't deserve any respect, god or not!" She charged forward, her sword singing through the air in a deadly arc.

Orion smirked, activating his Astro-Force to create a barrier between them. "Impressive form, but futile against my power." He unleashed a blast of cosmic energy that sent Donna flying backward.

Starfire caught her teammate mid-air. "We fight together!" She launched a barrage of starbolts while Bumblebee darted in from behind, her stingers crackling with electricity.

Orion's Mother Box warned him of the attack, allowing him to spin and catch Karen's wrist before her stinger could connect. "Pathetic," he growled, throwing her aside like a ragdoll.

Batgirl's voice cut through their comms. "His machine is generating that force field. We need to—"

But before she could finish, Orion appeared behind her in a burst of speed. "Analyzing my weaknesses? Don't bother." He raised his hand to strike, but just then Wonder Girl's lasso wrapped around his arm.

"You want a challenge?" Donna pulled hard, using the momentum to slam him into the ground. "Then face me with honor, not cheap tricks!"

The impact created a crater in the street, but Orion emerged laughing. "Finally, some spirit! Perhaps you're worthy of my attention after all." He charged forward, cosmic energy crackling around his fists.

The collision unleashed a shockwave, blasting Donna not just into a nearby building but also sending cars flying and shattering glass windows throughout nearby buildings.

"Damnit! He is too powerful, we need backup!"shouted Bumblebee on the comms as she stabilized herself after being pushed by the shockwave.

"Batgirl, we need backup."suggested Starfire on the comms surveying the destruction with worry.

"Already activated the beacon 5 minutes ago. Sine he calls himself a god, I called the next best thing."replied Batgirl with a solemn expression.

"Hahaha... Is that the best you can do? I thought I could take you back as my bride," mocked Orion as he gazed at the Amazon warrior. Donna had crashed into the building and fallen to her knees, her sword lodged in the ground as she panted. Yet through gritted teeth, driven by warrior's pride and her promise to honor both her sister and brother-in-law, she struggled through the pain and rose to her feet.

Through her disheveled hair, her blue eyes blazed defiantly at Orion as she shouted, "You may be strong and you may be a god, but you have no right on this planet, no right to command anyone. I will stand to defend this world until my last breath! And as for being your wife—" She spat on the ground before continuing, "I would rather die."

Orion's face darkened with rage at her insult. "Then die you shall!" He summoned a massive surge of Astro-Force energy, the air crackling with power.

But before he could strike, a sonic boom split the air. A familiar red cape fluttered as Superman descended between them, his eyes glowing with warning.

"That's enough," Superman's voice carried solemn tone beneath its calm. "Who are you? Why have you come to Earth? Earth is under the Justice League's protection."

Orion still carrying the charged energy in his hand, matched Superman's gaze with narrowed eyes and sneered,"Who are you to order me?"

Superman's eyes narrowed as he maintained his position between Orion and Wonder Girl. "I am Superman, one of Earth's protectors. Stand down and identify yourself—or you'll find out exactly who I am."

Orion's sneer widened into a predatory grin as his Motherbox scanned Superman. "Now that's interesting, a living breathing Kryptonian and one who defends humans?" He unleashed the charged Astro-Force energy directly at Superman. "Let's test your worth!"

Superman braced against the cosmic blast. Upon contact, he was pushed back several feet, yet he remained standing.

Orion narrowed his eyes with interest and charged forward, his Mother Box enhancing his speed to match Superman's. Superman, seeing his opponent's advance, moved to meet the attack.

Their collision created a thunderous shockwave that shattered remaining windows in the vicinity. Superman caught Orion's fist inches from his face, the ground cracking beneath his feet from the force.

"Impressive strength," Orion grunted, generating an energy field that pushed against Superman's grip. "But I am a New God. You're merely a remnant of a dead world."

Superman's eyes flashed red. "Why is it that you so-called gods believe your power gives you the right to harass and harm others?" His heat vision burst forth, forcing Orion to dodge and break their deadlock.

The battle escalated as they took to the sky, trading blows that echoed like thunder. Orion's Astro-Force clashed with Superman's heat vision, creating spectacular light shows above the city. Each impact between them sent ripples through the air.

Wonder Girl and the other Titans maintained a defensive perimeter below, protecting civilians from the fallout of the clash above.

"This is insane," Bumblebee said with concern as she rescued a trapped police officer from falling debris.

"The city won't survive much longer at this rate," Starfire observed, blasting apart a chunk of concrete before it could crash into the streets below.

"Only Superman stands a chance against him now," Batgirl said as she helped Wonder Girl stand. "How badly are you hurt?"

"I'll survive," Wonder Girl replied through gritted teeth, watching the aerial battle with serious gaze. "Hard to believe that perverted creep has this much power."

"You recognized his origins, Starfire. What do you know about New Genesis?" Batgirl asked.

"The New Gods are beings from New Genesis, a paradise world of incredible beauty and advanced technology," Starfire explained, her eyes tracking the fight above. "They're led by the Highfather, who promotes justice and peace across the cosmos. Together with the Guardians of the Universe who command the Green Lantern Corps, they form two of the three pillars maintaining universal order. And if I'm not mistaken, Orion is the Highfather's own son."

"Perfect. So we are facing a literal god," Batgirl muttered. "Let's hope Superman can handle him."

Wonder Girl's face contorted with disgust. "These so-called gods of justice? Their prince treats us like playthings, especially women. What kind of justice is that? What kind of gods are they?"

"Isn't that similar to Orach?" Bumblebee ventured cautiously.

"Absolutely not!" Batgirl and Wonder Girl shouted in unison, startling themselves into brief laughter.

"Similar to the old greek pantheon maybe. But, my brother-in-law is different," Wonder Girl continued passionately. "He is a true God. He lives among us, respects our ways, treats us as equals even though he doesn't have to. He only passes judgment when humanity truly crosses his bottomline, and even then, he till now has shown mercy through quick deaths rather than a fate worse than death. That's true justice."

"Bumblebee, you've had limited interaction with Orach, and you've only seen him through others' perspectives," Batgirl added. "Just look at Raven—she's his daughter and one of our closest friends. Despite what happened to Hawkman and Hawkgirl, she is a loyal, compassionate, and wonderful person. A cruel god could never raise someone as kind and remarkable as her."

Their discussion was interrupted as Orion crashed into the street below, creating a massive crater. While Starfire and Bumblebee mid air weathered the shockwave, Wonder Girl quickly shielded Batgirl with her own body and her shield, her feet breaking through the concrete as they slid backward.

"Are you two alright?" Starfire called out.

"We're fine," Batgirl assured, steadying Wonder Girl.

"If only my brother-in-law were here," Wonder Girl muttered, reaching for the single blue crystal hidden in her pocket—a gift from Orach before he departed for Oa with her sister and niece, that she could use only three times. 'Not yet,' she thought. 'Not unless there's no other choice.'

A laugh echoed from the crater as Orion rose, his Astro-Harness lifting him to face Superman. "Impressive, Kryptonian! I haven't had a fight this good since battling Apokolips' forces. You know, I came seeking the new god that has recently appeared in this sector, but he'd already left to face the Green Lantern Corps. I almost left, thinking this world held no challenges - until I saw that spirited and spunky Amazon with a nice ass and now you. Come, let's continue our fun!"

Superman's expression darkened as his voice turned cold. "You came looking for Orach." The memories of the alternate timeline may have faded during this past month, but they had changed him fundamentally. His once clear-cut view of right and wrong had become clouded with shades of grey. While he carried his warmth for his parents, Lois, and a select few, his general outlook towards humanity had grown little cynical.

Though he had made peace with Flash after a stern warning, heeding his mother's council to let go of that grudge, his feelings toward Orach were different. The rage he harbored had driven him to spend countless hours training in the Fortress of Solitude, pushing his limits every weekend after fulfilling his duties to both Lois and Metropolis. He knew the power gap was huge but, knowing that a race of the higher realms, once saw the potential in his kind to rival the Saiyans, he wanted to try, try to reach for a new height of power. Now, learning that this New God had brought more chaos to Earth because of Orach only intensified his anger. His eyes began to glow crimson with building heat vision.

"Superman, we're in position," Cyborg's voice came through the comms. "I have a target lock on him. Let's move this fight away from the city."

But before the Justice League could spring into action, a boom tube opened in the sky. A figure emerged - tall, dignified, clearly another New God. "Orion," the newcomer announced gravely, "New Genesis requires your presence."

"Solis, can't you see I'm busy?" Orion protested, but the messenger cut him off.

"War approaches, and the army needs its general. Highfather's orders."

Orion's demeanor shifted instantly from playful to serious. He gave Superman a final nod. "We'll finish this another time, Kryptonian." With that, both New Gods vanished into the boom tube, leaving the heroes to deal with the aftermath of their battle.

The heroes stood stunned by Orion's abrupt departure, a mixture of indignation and relief washing over them.

Superman's eyes dimmed as he regained his composure. Surveying the devastation from above, his expression turned grave. He joined the assembled Justice League and Teen Titans members to coordinate rescue efforts, working methodically to free trapped civilians from the rubble. Despite their injuries, Batgirl and Wonder Girl pushed through their pain to assist in the recovery operation.

Later that evening, Donna stepped out into their base's garden after a hot shower, now dressed in casual clothes. The ocean view provided a peaceful backdrop as she replayed the battle in her mind, analyzing her performance and seeking ways to improve.

"Deep in thought?" Barbara's voice broke through her reverie as she emerged from the base, also in casual attire.

"Hey Barb," Donna turned with a welcoming nod. "Just getting some fresh air."

"And reviewing the fight?" Barbara asked knowingly.

"Am I that transparent?" asked Donna with a wry smile.

Barbara hesitated before asking, "During the battle, I noticed you reaching for something. There was a blue glint..."

Donna was quiet for a moment before reaching into her pocket. "A parting gift from my brother-in-law," she explained, revealing a small blue crystal.

To her surprise, Barbara let out a soft laugh and produced an identical crystal from her jacket pocket. "Looks like Orach had the same idea for both of us," she said. "Mine materialized in a flash of blue light while I was studying—scared me half to death."

Donna's eyes widened before a wry smile crossed her face. "He trusted us both with these, didn't he?"

"Yes," Barbara nodded, her expression growing serious. "Though I hope we never have to use them."

"Hey Barb," Donna's expression turned serious, "Today, I felt helpless against Orion. These crystals... I hate the fact that I almost used mine during the battle."

"I know what you mean," Barbara replied softly. "I was tempted too. But we both know these are meant as an absolute last resort. Orach trusted us with immense power."

"And we need to be worthy of that trust," Donna finished, looking out at the ocean. "Still, knowing we have this safety net... it's both comforting and terrifying."

"Exactly," Barbara said thoughtfully. "The fact that he gave us both these crystals shows his faith in our judgment. But we need to prove ourselves worthy of that trust by relying on our own strength first."

Donna nodded firmly. "My thoughts exactly. After today's battle with Orion, I think we need to seriously step up our training."

"I agree completely," Barbara replied. "I'll talk to Dick about implementing some new advanced combat scenarios. And you know what? We might even be able to get some League members to help run specialized training simulations."

"The League?" Donna raised an eyebrow, then smiled. "That could actually work."

After a moment of comfortable silence, Barbara's expression softened. "Hey... how do you think Rachel is doing out there?"

Donna's face lit up with pride. "That niece of mine? Knowing her, she's probably deep in training with her father and mother, pushing herself to new limits."

Barbara chuckled warmly. "They probably are."

Their shared laughter faded into a comfortable silence as they gazed at the moonlit ocean. The peaceful moment helped ease the tension from the day's battle.

"We should get some rest," Barbara suggested, stifling a yawn. "Tomorrow's going to be another long day."

Donna nodded in agreement. "Goodnight, Barb."

"Goodnight, Donna."

The two made their way back inside, both feeling more at peace after their heart-to-heart conversation. Despite the challenges ahead, they knew they could face them together.

Void Sentinel in Warp

Space warped around the ship as it traversed sectors at incredible speeds. In the ship's training chamber, Rachel and Diana faced sophisticated holographic projections of Green Lanterns. These combat simulations were crafted from both the Void Sentinel's recorded encounters with the Corps during its buoy retrieval missions and Adellca's firsthand knowledge of Lantern tactics from her time in the Corps.

"Remember," Diana instructed, her voice calm but focused as she gestured to the emerald-hued holograms, "these simulations replicate actual Green Lantern combat techniques. Study not just their movements, but the intent behind each construct."

Rachel nodded, centering herself as she tapped into her inner world. Dark wings unfurled from her back as a ring of dark magic fire materialized behind her, her eyes keenly tracking the projected constructs' attack formations. Years of training with her parents had taught her the importance of reading an opponent's patterns.

"Each Lantern has their unique style," Rachel observed thoughtfully, analyzing a particularly intricate construct formation. "But there are fundamental patterns in how they channel their willpower."

Diana smiled approvingly. "Exactly. But remember what your father taught us about the Corps - while their will is strong, each Lantern's mental fortitude varies. By gauging the strength of their constructs, we can assess their connection to the emotional spectrum's power of will."

As if to demonstrate, Diana moved with fluid grace, her new suit amplifying her already formidable abilities. In one seamless sequence, she cleaved Hal Jordan's projection from bottom to top, then swept her blade in a swift arc to decapitate John Stewart's hologram. Without missing a beat, she recalled her sword only to manifest it behind her, impaling Laira Omoto's projection while catching Kilowog's construct with her bare hand.

"Mom, that was incredible!" Rachel exclaimed, genuinely impressed by her mother's masterful display. Her momentary distraction nearly cost her as another Lantern projection launched a surprise attack. Rachel's instincts kicked in just in time - she pivoted gracefully, dodging the construct before retaliating with a perfectly aimed Ki blast that dissolved the hologram into particles of light.

"Always maintain your focus, Rachel," Diana advised, though her voice carried a stern tone. "You know better than getting distracted in combat."

"I know, mom. Won't happen again," Rachel replied, her voice turning solemn. She shifted into a defensive stance, dark energy crackling around her form. "Let's run that sequence again. I want to perfect my timing against those entrapment constructs."

Diana nodded approvingly. "Crescent, reinitialize Green Lantern combat sequence alpha-seven—focus on defensive and isolation formations."

In the next moment, new projections materialized around them. The setting transformed into the void of space once more, with countless Green Lanterns and their emerald constructs forming increasingly complex patterns.

Mother and daughter moved in perfect synchronization, their enhanced abilities allowing them to weave through the barrage of energy attacks.

"Remember," Diana called out between movements, "the Lanterns' constructs are only as strong as their will. Look for—" She ducked under a sweeping beam. "—signs of fluctuation in their energy patterns."

Rachel nodded, her movements growing more precise with each exchange. She swiftly evaded the Lanterns who desperately tried to prevent her escape, even at the cost of their own lives. Moving past these sacrificial opponents, she analyzed the complex network of interlocking constructs designed to trap and isolate her. Her keen eye caught a subtle weakness in their pattern. Her dark wings folded tight as she spiraled through a narrow gap in the constructs' formation. Emerging on the other side, she released a precise burst of Ki energy that rippled through the larger construct matrix, destabilizing the layered barriers. With their formation compromised, Rachel spread her dark wings wide and channeled her power, conjuring lances of dark magic wreathed in black flames. The lances pierced through the weakened barriers, striking down the projections of the Green Lanterns before they could regroup.

"Good," Diana said, watching Rachel's response. She raised her sword and channeled her Ki, unleashing a swift slash imbued with a controlled amount of her God Ki—her eyes and hair momentarily turning blackberry. The construct shattered upon contact, its shockwave blasting away both the Lanterns and Rachel. Diana then moved swiftly to eliminate the remaining Lanterns that hadn't dissipated from the blast.

Rachel, having shielded herself with a barrier, emerged and rose high in the simulated space, her wings spread wide.

"If you're ever ambushed and trapped," Diana advised, "send out a beacon first, that way your father and I can come to your aid, then move to unleash your full might. Concentrate on a single point to attack and unleash 99% of your Ki. That's how you'll break through any entrapment and then use space laws to jump close to the ship or directly enter the ship. Once you are close by the ship's barrier will protect you and allow you to retreat during combat. If however, in the unlikely event, you still aren't able to break through the barriers preventing your to manipulate space laws, then simply stay put and wait for us to come to you. Understood?"

"Understood," Rachel replied solemnly. "Dad made me promise the same thing."

Diana smiled softly. "Speaking of which, I think we should conclude for today. We've been in the chamber for over a year now, and I'd like to freshen up, put something more comfortable and see your father."

"Yeah, I miss him too," Rachel admitted, running a hand through her hair that had grown longer since she last saw her father. "The training chamber is incredibly effective, but it can be... mentally taxing. In Azarath, we at least had a sense of home. Here, the time dilation really weighs on you." She paused, shaking her head in admiration. "I have a whole new respect for Dad and other Saiyans who can spend days in here, pushing themselves to grow stronger. Their mental fortitude is truly remarkable."

She sighed, her fingers trailing through the lingering wisps of dark energy around her. "When Dad gave us full access to the chamber's capabilities, I was thrilled. We could train and grow stronger just like in Azarath, but with even more control over the time dilation factor - something only Dad could manipulate back home. But after a year in here..." Her voice softened. "I just want to see him, even though for him it's been barely a day."

Diana nodded in understanding. "I feel the same way," she said softly, then brightened as she remembered something. "And I believe your new combat suit should be finished by now. Would you like to check it out after we see your father?"

"Oh right!" Rachel's eyes lit up with excitement as she remembered. The thought of new equipment—especially something crafted with her father's advanced technology—filled her with anticipation. "Yes, let's see Dad first, then check out the suit."

As they prepared to exit the training chamber, Diana reflected on their year of intense preparation for the upcoming confrontation with the Green Lantern Corps. Her progress had exceeded expectations - particularly in mastering the advanced technology at her disposal. The new combat suit and sword, she marveled, were leaps beyond her Earth equipment, despite those being forged by Hephaestus himself. Though she had only begun to tap into their true potential, the thought of wielding them to protect her family filled her with determination.

"Your control has improved remarkably," Crescent's voice echoed through the chamber. "Your energy signature is becoming more refined."

Diana nodded in acknowledgment. After a year of rigorous cultivation with the law crystals in the Ki-rich environment, she could feel herself approaching steps closer to the threshold of Super Saiyan Cardinal Pink. While this transformation remained just beyond her reach, the gap had narrowed considerably. Her mastery over God Ki had evolved into something more intuitive, flowing through her with natural precision. Combined with her enhanced equipment, this refined control had transformed her into a truly formidable warrior.

But nothing made her prouder than watching Rachel's growth. Even now, with exhaustion evident in her stance, her daughter's spirit burned bright. Diana observed with maternal pride as Rachel had blossomed into a graceful young woman, growing more confident in her role as princess of the house of Gula. Rachel stood at the precipice of her own breakthrough, ready to ascend to the mid-manifestation Realm.

"You both have come so far,"remarked Crescent said softly addressing the two.

Rachel smiled, though fatigue showed in her eyes. "Thanks, Crescent. I appreciate that."

"We both do. You have facilitated our growth and guided us further with our techniques and equipment," Diana nodded and added on, as her mind drifted back to their first moments aboard the Void Sentinel, then to when this journey had just begun...

Flashback

Aboard the Void Sentinel, space warped around the ship as it traversed sectors at incredible speeds. Rachel and Diana stood at the main observation deck, mesmerized by the streaks of light across the curved viewport.

"It's beautiful," Rachel whispered in awe. Diana smiled warmly and nodded in agreement, the starlight reflecting in her eyes.

Meanwhile, in his captain's chair, Orach immersed himself in analyzing the data that Crescent and Adellca had gathered about the emotional spectrum.

The concept fascinated him—a framework of power drawn from the fundamental emotions that all sentient beings could experience and express. What particularly caught his attention were Adellca's personal notes.

"After becoming a cultivator," she had stated in her logs, "I began sensing distinct resonances from different aspects of the spectrum. Each wavelength called to me in its own unique way."

This revelation fascinated Orach deeply. The data suggested emotions in this lower realm were evolving beyond mere feelings into potentially self-aware entities with their own consciousness. Such autonomous manifestation of emotions outside their host, was unprecedented. While emotional energy had always been fundamental to the cultivation process—and could even spawn different personalities if left unchecked, as he had experienced with his dark self during the Void Realm trials—he had never encountered emotions developing their own conscious existence outside a person. This new understanding of the emotional spectrum's potential sentience opened fascinating possibilities for research.

Analyzing the data further, he noted Adellca's strongest connection was with the Green light of willpower—unsurprising, given her history as a Green Lantern. The connection had clearly left an indelible mark on her being.

As Orach immersed himself in the study, Diana and Rachel's initial excitement about faster-than-light travel began to fade. Their chairs, sensing their desire to move, automatically retracted their safety restraints. Curious about his intense focus on the holographic displays, they made their way to his position.

Rachel leaned over the captain's chair. "What are you studying so intently, Dad?"

Diana settled on the armrest, her eyes drawn to the complex data streams before them.

"Adellca's research on the Emotional Spectrum," Orach replied, waving his hand to enlarge the displays. He gave them a brief overview of his findings and speculations, including his ambitious plan to study these emotional manifestations—perhaps even domesticate them as companions for their house while advancing his research.

Diana and Rachel exchanged stunned looks. Rachel's mind wandered to the possibilities: What would a cosmic-level pet look like? Would it behave like a regular animal? How would one even begin to care for such a being?

Catching their daughter lost in thought, her expressions shifting rapidly between wonder and confusion, Diana and Orach shared a knowing glance and chuckled softly.

The sound pulled Rachel from her reverie. She blushed, pouting at being so easily read by her parents, which only made them laugh harder. It was a precious moment of levity before the gravity of their mission returned.

Orach extended his arms, drawing both Diana and Rachel onto his lap—Rachel to his right, Diana to his left. His expression turned serious as he ordered, "Crescent, display the map of Oa's sector." Multiple holographic scenarios materialized before them, showing various deployment strategies and countermeasures he had developed with Mother Empress and Crescent. Each plan followed the same core strategy, while Orach, Scarlet Zeta, and the Void Sentinel engaged the Lantern Corps, Diana and Rachel would infiltrate their prisons to rescue Adellca, Hal Jordan, Laira Omoto, and John Stewart.

Mother and daughter nodded solemnly, understanding their role in the coming conflict.

Seeing their determination, Orach closed the tactical displays. He tightened his embrace around his family. "Crescent," he called out, "begin playback of the final Sadala logs."

Mother Empress, Z9, and Crescent materialized on the main deck, their expressions solemn—ready to pay tribute to those lost in Sevich's attack on Sadala.

As Crescent raised his hand, instead of the expected data displays, a hologram appeared: an elderly gentleman with a dignified beard, wearing white Saiyan armor, his expression kind while his eye carried wisdom.

Orach's breath caught. "SAGE," he whispered, recognition and nostalgia flooding his voice.

The figure smiled warmly. "It's good to see you again, Science Officer—or should I say, Prince Orach of House Gula? Still, to me you would always be the same brat who once crashed my systems."

The remark made Orach twitch while Diana and Rachel giggled.

SAGE's expression grew serious. "Prince Orach, though you were challenging to handle, you were a remarkable child, one I wished to see grow to your full potential. But such is the life of us Saiyans—we who fight to defend the rich possibilities of creation against corrupting forces." He paused, his holographic eyes carrying deep emotion.

"My remarkable prince, you are now the last child of Sadala. While your parents might have wished you to simply live your life, we all know you well enough to know you would want to seek answers about what happened while you were in the med pod, after waking up. These recordings and logs you are about to see, were transmitted to your ship as it left Sadala following you. I hope you're ready to face everything they contain."

His expression grew solemn as he continued. "But, after you have reviewed the logs, please remember—the entire division and your parents sacrificed everything for your survival. So… LIVE! Grow stronger than those before you. Continue defending the possibilities in all life, carrying forward the hopes and will of those lost to Sevich. Never surrender to darkness, no matter how much it hurts. Find those who can become your new family." SAGE's image flickered slightly. "I hope the AIs I left with you—though based on my coding—have developed their own unique personalities. Let them remind you that you're never truly alone."

"This is my final farewell, my prince. It has been my honor to serve the houses of Sadala and watch its princes and princesses grow—especially you, the miracle child who shook the higher realms. Farewell, Prince Orach. This is SAGE Central AI, signing off."

As the elderly figure dissolved into particles of light, Orach rose, joined by the three AIs. They brought their hands to their hearts and bowed their heads in a final salute to SAGE, the central AI of Sadala.

"Thank you for your service, SAGE," Orach said solemnly, silently renewing his vow to carry forward the will and hopes of all who had sacrificed themselves—his division brothers and sisters, his comrades, his family, his parents—so that he might live.

Diana and Rachel stood as well, offering their own respectful salutes, understanding the profound significance of this moment.

As they settled back into their seats, the final recordings from Sadala's last stand began to play, documenting the fateful day that had changed everything.

The logs began with the detection of warp signatures near Sadala. SAGE's alert system identified an approaching Star Destroyer - King Vegeta's Chariot. The division members watched in stunned silence as the truth unfolded: King Vegeta had betrayed them to join the Evil God Sevich, his pride wounded by Empress Gula's choice to marry Lord Cress, a Saiyan of humble origins who had risen through merit to become a respected leader.

Frisee hurried to inform Empress Gula, who stood vigil by her injured son's medical pod, her aura radiating a chilling intensity. The messenger's words echoed through the chamber:

"King Vegeta, Ma'am. He made a deal with the Evil God, becoming an apostle to gain strength. He... he betrayed us because he couldn't accept that you chose Lord Cress over him."

Once Gula rejoined her Strategic Division, she quickly established a defensive strategy. But soon, reports arrived of Vegeta being overrun by corruption. With heavy heart, she authorized the use of their ultimate weapon - the Rudra's singularity cannon.

The Rudra's captain addressed his crew, his voice carrying the weight of decision they had to carry out was heard by Orach and his family as the captain addressed his men in the recordings before engaging the singularity cannon.

The logs showed the recordings of the singularity that finally consumed Vegeta, but it wasn't enough. Sevich, along with the corrupted King and Prince Vegeta, managed to reach Sadala. As chaos erupted, Frisee and SAGE executed Gula's contingency plan - Orach's escape.

Frisee's voice broke as she bid farewell, "I hope he remembers our advice, to not always play the hero, to be selfish when necessary, and to enjoy life... Most importantly, I hope he remembers our love for him."

SAGE added solemnly, "Godspeed, young master! Grow up well and make your parents proud!"

As Orach's ships departed, Gula faced her division, "Do you think I am selfish to save only my son?"

Tris stepped forward, "Even though I wish we could save more, if he can be saved, I know our race will survive and make a comeback. I can die easy knowing your son is out there carrying our will."

Val nodded: "That mischievous brat has been pranking me since he was born. But his character is indeed one I can entrust our wills to."

Gula's hardened voice was heard, "It's time I face the BASTARD that caused all of this."

"Yes, Captain. May the Gods be with you," her crew responded in unison.

The final battle shown was fierce however, considering that the ship at this point in time was already exiting the war zone, the recordings were choppy and partially corrupted. Sevich's taunts echoed across the battlefield: "I can feel your rage... It's intoxicating… let's dance the dance of death, Saiyan princess!"

Gula transformed into Super Saiyan God Blue form, joined by her elite warriors and two fellow Division Captains. The Rudra provided orbital support. When Sevich landed a powerful hit on Gula, Cress arrived with his Delta squad, revealing his hidden power approaching Super Saiyan 3.

"You saved me once again, my love," Gula pained voice was heard. "Just like old times, husband... Orach has already escaped, so let's go out with a bang, shall we?"

Sevich sneered, "What do we have here? Someone who actually reached such power through bloodlines alone?… Impressive for a low born. Today, all… serve as my… minions."

Cress voice was heard , "Gula, SAGE, do you remember… end… days contingency?"

"Cress, you can't be serious," Gula's trembling voice was heard.

"We can't let him live. Our son...safe And none of us want to become his corrupted..."

After a moment, Gula hardened voice was heard, "Understood. SAGE, send… under my authority."

The logs abruptly ended as the display shifted to a final image that showed a massive singularity erupting, consuming not just planets but pulling the system's star itself off course - a sacrifice to ensure the corruption would not spread further, and that their son would have a future to fight for.
