Blaze was walking around restlessly, in deep thought.
The current situation was known to no more than 10 people, including the workers keeping an eye on the dungeon. The dungeon dive of the other students was underway, and the red gate was covered up by the workers.
"It turn'd red 'cuz I told 'em I di'n't wanna babysit 'em" . . . Kenny was sobbing on the ground.
Five students, the most promising ones, were trapped in a red gate. First year students beating D-Rank dungeons was a rare sight to behold, and the number of times first-years had cleared C-Rank dungeons could be counted on one hand.
It has been about 5 hours since the team went in, but the red gate had not reopened, there was no way to tell if the students were alive or dead, but he still hung on to the thin string of hope.
As if answering his prayers, the dungeon gate started making a faint, low, vibrating sound, and a person came out of it.

.
"Man that was an EXPERIENCE"
He said as his walk started to get clumsier and he fell unconscious.
'That should be believable enough, I mean, if I used Reverse Cursed Technique and came out without a scratch, OUT OF A B-RANK DUNGEON, it would be suspicious . . . also this looks cooler.'
He was rushed to the healing mages.
Why did he do this you ask? Because I wanted him to hehe.
.
One by one, all the members of the team came out, each one with new items in hand, saying that this was the reward of clearing the dungeon.
Sukuna was unconscious for 3 days, in these 3 days, his 4 teammates told the entire story of the dungeon from their perspective, down to every detail they could remember.
It did not help much in knowing about the boss as they never had a direct encounter with it, so the faculty would have to directly talk to Sukuna when he regains consciousness.
As a result of this dungeon dive, the 4 teammates have been given a reality check, and their aspiration for power increased, they also admired Sukuna even more, and started trying to know him more.
.
Right after Sukuna woke up, he didn't respond to the summons of the faculty members, even the principles, and looked at the item that he held in his hand, which he took out from his inventory.
As he focused for a bit on it, a message came up on the system.
[What do you wish for?]
Thinking for a few minutes, Sukuna said . . .
"Remove all my debuffs, including my physical limiter"
"Also, Remove my upper limit"
The Upper Limit was a concept in the game, each person had an 'upper limit', it was not the limit on how powerful one can be, but rather, how fast one can develop.
The name "upper limit" can be misleading, as people in the game can grow endlessly, the upper limit is just how fast they can grow from one stage of power to another.
For example, Sukuna, right now, has an upper limit on his Cursed Technique, he cannot create new skills from it, whereas, without limits, it would not be too hard to create new skills from scratch. With enough knowledge and experience, this could turn out as a sort of Copy skill.
[What do you offer in return?]
"I offer . . ."

Sukuna had an interrogation with the higher-ups of the school, he told them about the fight with the boss, which left them awestruck.
He, along with his teammates, was kept in hiding for a week, after which the news of them beating a B-Rank dungeon was publicized.
All the information was sent to the Head of the Hunter Association.
A few days later, it was announced that the Head of the Hunter Association would be spectating the Academy Tournament taking place in 3 months.
.
Information on Sukuna's Reverse Cursed Technique was spread, his teammates were astonished at him GROWING BACK AN ARM in the middle of battle, which they told to the principal.
It was also observed by the healing mages, that their healing was not very effective on him, they could at most heal the external injuries, such as cuts, but nothing too deep.
The deep injuries, though, started healing by themselves, but no mana was felt. When Sukuna was asked about this, he refused to answer and turned his head to the corner of the room, ignoring the presence of the person asking the question until the topic was changed.
Also his tattoos were permanent now, he didn't know how that happened, but it didn't affect him, so he didn't mind them. If someone asked about them, he would give them the same treatment as he did when someone asked him of his healing technique.
.
Sukuna was very downcast at information of his Reverse Cursed Technique being leaked, as he wanted to do some stunt and reveal it at the Tournament.
Information of the fire arrow was also told to the principal, who kept it a secret, if informing the Head of the Hunter Association doesn't count. The guy at the top wanted to know everything.
.
.
Sukuna gave half of his training time for physical fitness for the next few months. His internal King of Curses made his physical improvement really fast, he assumed he'd get the stats of the original Sukuna within a year.
His Cursed Energy Proficiency growth became slower, but it was growing nonetheless. The increase in Cursed Energy Proficiency was not too slow due to something he got from the principal.
.
"We all are very pleased by the performance of you five, and hence, we have decided to give each one of you one thing you ask for, if it is reasonable and within our abilities."
As his allies were thinking deeply, Sukuna said:
"I want the permission to enter dungeons, alone."
Usually, Hunters could enter dungeons one rank lower than their Hunter rank alone, but for ones of their rank or higher, they needed a team, and they were not allowed to enter dungeons of more than one rank higher than their Hunter Ranks.
For example, a B-Rank hunter can enter dungeons of C-Rank or below alone, dungeons of B and A-Rank with a team, and is not allowed to enter dungeons above A-Rank in any case.
"If you want restrictions, make it entering D-Rank or lower dungeons alone, you know I am strong enough as I killed a B-Rank on my own," said Sukuna, trying to convince the Principal.
"if we ignore the fact that we killed those skeletons for you" whispered Alexia as she pouted, not getting the appreciation she wanted from her idol.
"I will try my best to provide this for you, " Blaze thought that this was acceptable, he could have a talk with the Association, if they decline, he could just have a high rank Hunter follow Sukuna into dungeons as a ghost teammate.
