_From Song Yao's Pov._

Waking up with slightly blurry eyes, Song Yao immediately scanned her surroundings and was shocked to find herself laying in the room of an inn laced with ordinary yet neatly placed decor. 

Creak...!

The door of the room suddenly creaked open as Yun Tian walked in with a big tray of food in his hands, a calm smile was plastered on his face when he presented the food before her and he was a bit caught off guard from how swift she took the tray away from him. Right before his eyes she ate at an unimaginable speed, though still looking mannered and graceful. The thought of this caused Yun Tian to blank out for a few seconds, but he soon regained his senses in no time.

What!

Muttered Yun Tian in his mind as he gazed at the empty tray being handed over to him.

"More please."

Uttered Song Yao with a neutral expression which left him totally baffled by her aloofness. She had just eaten a tray of food enough for two people to share, yet she was still asking for more.

"You think being hunted down for 2 and a half years without eating anything within that time frame won't make me hungry, I want more right now!"

Declared Song Yao in a firm voice that left Yun Tian flabbergasted as he took the tray away from her hands.

"Did she just say two and a half years."

Thought Yun Tian in abject horror, because he knew that only people who were already past the nascent source realm will have little or no need at all for food, now that he thought about it, he could no longer sense her power level even though he was already at the law attainment realm. This made her all the more mysterious to him. With a sigh he quickly left the room to get some more food, mostly because he still had unanswered questions asking on his case.

Sitting on a wooden chair that was just across the bed, Yun Tian cleared his throat as he watched Song Yao gobble up the last part of her hearty meal.

"What do you want?"

Uttered Song Yao with a frown, as if understanding Yun Tian's intentions right from the start.

"I'm glad you asked, um I just need your help to infiltrate the..."

"No."

Replied Song Yao bluntly without even giving him a chance. His mouth even hung open due to being cut off from what he was about to say.

"Well, I've invested too much in you to just wait and watch you die, so here, get what you need done tonight, we leave at Dawn."

Said Song Yao as she tossed Yun Tian a yellow seal that glowed softly in his hand, it was a sky Xuan artifact. This left him greatly stunned, because not even the patriarch of the Heavenly Flame Dragon Clan could toss out such a precious items as if it was trash. but what could he say, he had already been shocked to the core by this person times without number, and he was even yet to understand what kind of magic she did to make two bloodlines rest calmly within his body, infact since his new change, he was yet to calmly sit and cultivate yet his eyes were working much better than what they could do before, he could sense the universe before him more clearly now, but he could tell that there was more to what meets the eye when it come to his because he was yet to unlock it's full secrets

LI FAMILY RESIDENCE

A phantom like figure swiftly drifted through the compound of the Li family, passing a few ordinary body gaurds along the way not leaving behind a single trace, this person was indeed Yun Tian who was using a level two Sky Xuan artifact.

"Take over from here am on my break."

Uttered one of the guards in light green uniform before walking towards a small cabin at the side of the family compound. Seeing this, Yun Tian took it as a golden opportunity and quickly followed from behind with the intentions of questioning the guard, an obvious sign of how inexperienced he was in this kind of stuff.

The sound of metal unbukling came from the door of the cabin as the soldier walked in with Yun Tian following suite, while making the mistake of shutting the door behind him.

"Who's ther..."

Before the guards could even complete his words his mouth had gotten completely shut by Yun Tian from behind.

"Tell me everything about the assassination of the young master of the Yun family or else."

Uttered Yun Tian blandly which caused the gaurds stomach to scrunch as he began to laugh, and with a a back swing of his elbow, he was able to break free from Yun Tian.

"You are the worst assassin I have ever seen in my entire life, you don't even make the cut for worst at hide and seek."

Uttered the gaurd with laughter that caused Yun Tian to frown.

"You didn't even come here for useful information, but the mere gossip of a worthless dung of trash."

At this point Yun Tian had been truly angered.

OM...!

Purple light suddenly glowed from his eyes and shot at the guard causing the gaurd to fall into a vegetative state as he fell to the ground while continually twitching like a dead animal. Alarmed, Yun Tian quickly rushed to his side, but his body immediately went cold the moment he did, because the person before him was already.

Thump....!

His heart began to beat rapidly and he felt like puking because this was the first time he had ever done such a thing so directly and so mercilessly at that, even the the one he did yesterday was completely out of target and thirst for survival, he didn't even get to see the attackers face.

"Hey bro what's going on here!"

Suddenly called out another guard from outside the cabin, causing Yun Tian to rush out of the room in panic while closing his right eye as all the memories of the dead guard began to flood into his mind, luckily, he was not spotted, but the dead body of the Li family guard had casued total lockdown in the Li family residence with a full blown search for the killer.
