Chapter 104 Don\'t Be Upset

"Did I not even cross your mind once within the whole hour?" Eddison's eyes started to turn red. His body had tensed up immensely.

"You didn't even think about me once in that entire hour, Caroline. How do you think that makes me feel? I've cared for you so genuinely, someone with a heart of stone would even be moved. Do you really feel nothing for me?" he questioned.

Caroline felt her mouth turn dry. Being in such close proximity to him as he interrogated her didn't help. Her mind started to run through a flurry of thoughts as she tried desperately to look for an explanation.

After all, she hadn't contacted Culver herself. Culver was the one who had found her. She realised that she had forgotten to ask him why he was even there.

Eddison took her hand and placed it on the left side of his head. "Do you know how I got this wound? I got it from worrying about you too much! I was speeding to get to you and when I made a turn, I bumped my head into the car window."
