Chapter 113 A Lot of Pressure

To a certain extent, Caroline was affected by Beryl's words. Although she did not show it, she was shaken by Eddison.

She had been thinking about this matter en route to the hospital. She thought about how lonely Eddison would look as he stood by the door with a frown on his face.

She was actually extremely distressed.

Also, the night before, he did everything he could to protect her just as she was about to fall down the stairs.

Could it be that she should just forget the past although it hurt her?

Caroline asked herself inwardly. However, before she could come up with an answer, she realised that she had arrived at the hospital.

She held the fruit basket and bouquet of flowers that she brought and made her way to Credzen's ward. When she arrived, she was surprised to see him alone in the room.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Xanthe. Do you feel better today?" She placed the fruit basket on the bedside table and put the flowers into the vase.
