Caroline sighed. Then, she heard Eddison say, "He can stay in the room on the first floor. The one at the end of the corridor."

"What?" Caroline was surprised and asked, "So, you're saying yes?"

Eddison looked at her with burning eyes. After a while, he said, "You did mention that it is our house, right? Since we share the house, and you're its owner as well, you're allowed to make such decisions as well."

Caroline suddenly blushed. She really wanted to throw herself onto him and bite him out of embarrassment.

She did not realize that she had accidentally claimed ownership of the house. Her cheeks burned bright red with embarrassment as she recalled.

"Eddison, you're too good to me," she said.

"I am, aren't I? You should give me a kiss for that," he smiled.

"Fine." Caroline stood up, leaned over, and kissed him on the cheek.

That afternoon, she visited Credzen over at the hospital in the city and told him about their decision.
