Chapter 815 Grabbed Lucille\'s Hand

Lucille yawned lazily.

She was a little hungry and sleepy right then.

Joseph grabbed Lucille's hand as if no one else was around them. When he saw the red marks on her wrist, a trace of hostility flashed across his eyes. He then said, "I'll help you apply some ointment when we get back."

"No need." Lucille leaned back on her seat and closed her eyes to rest.

It was just a minor injury, and it didn't matter.

The marks would be gone in two days.

Joseph was particularly persistent about it, though. His tone didn't allow room for argument. "No. I have to apply ointment for you."

Lucille could not help but open her eyes and glare at him.

Their eyes met and neither of them gave in.

In the end, it was still Lucille who was defeated. She recalled the time when she was in the Collins family's manor. She had only gotten a small scratch from the wooden bridge, and he had insisted on treating her wounds.

"Okay, whatever you want."
