,,...with these words of sincerity, I'm officially denying your rights as an angel and a heaven's worker" these words, which the God said while preparing to stand up, echoed though the room, making other people either confused and sad or happy and understanding and so on God continued
,,I, myself will accompany you down, please go pack your things and be at the fountain in one hour" ending his speech slowly, he looked down at Luna and gave her a untrustworthy look. You could say that, that Luna's world shattered with this look. The outside looked so peaceful yet so angry today. Pearly white clouds, sun hiding behind them, not wanting to see the scene happening in front of Luna. Soon the familiar feeling of her insides burning with anger started and she couldn't hold it in. However after his act, she bowed down and turned back to go to her room.
...
Her room was quite spacious with a lot of things, not that she was a hoarder though. When the door opens, it reveals a bed with a messy blanket, in floral cover, a desk, some storage space for her things and ah of course the mirror, now not so much mirror, that broke yesterday. It was shocking that no one hurt their feet, when there was shattered glass all over the floor. At least she didn't need to clean it up anymore.
Luna walked in, an unsteady aura walking behind her. She went to her closet and tried to find a bag, big enough for her things. All of the things that happened yesterday were making a way into her mind, no matter how much she tried to think positively, they still got to her.
,,How could I have let myself so off guard? Now everything is ruined, I even told her my name! A secret nobody knows, even if we work together, the angels don't know each others real names, just the ones they got when they entered heaven. What a burden" Luna sighed and let go of the bag in her hands. Her head fell into her hands and gripped onto her silky hair. She knew her penalty will be bad, but come it's that bad? Not even bad... horrible. Her head was spinning from all the informations.
Not wasting time, she hurriedly threw all of her things in the bag, only stopping for a second.
People were staring as she was walking outside and not in a good way. What a misfortune did happen to her. Her walking sped up because she didn't want to be in the middle of attention.
Her gaze focused on the blurry dot infront of her, that was slowly getting a human shape. The person had a long white coat, dragging it on the floor as they were walking in circles impatiently. As the person saw Luna, he said ,,Come here", his voice had likely cold and sorrowful tone. Even for the God it wasn't easy to let go of an angel. After all they were all his workers and friends, he had memories with all of them, Luna too, thus it hurt his heart too. Luna's focus was now on the ground under her, having all kinds of emotions inside, embarrassment, sadness, anger. She sighed ,, I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused you" . The words sounded rather forced and quiet like she wasn't aware of the things happened.
The man in front of her just noded his head, probably not capable of speaking right now. He's been up all night, doing some paper works and contacting his people so it was only natural.
He eyes closed for a spare second to organize his thoughts and proceeded to make movements eith his hands. A light purple circle did form in the air and was gaining it's intensity.
Soon a vibrant purple portal could be seen, there was a specific emotion to this portal. It seemed ancient looking with ornaments such as roses, daisies and animals - fox, dragon, lion, on it's frame. The inside was just a fog floating in thin air with low voices coming out of it from the mortal world. But that was not where they were going, they needed to go way lower than that. Lower than the ocean, lower than the ocean bottom and it did not look pleasant like in the ocean.
Do you notice, the deeper you go in the ocean, the less pleasant it looks there?
The top is pretty, the light can still be seen there and all kinds of colors are there, it looks like a painting, but when you go lower, the only things, that are there are darkness and weirdly looking animals, that were not discovered yet, however it's not like there is water in hell.
,,Thank you for your service...Victoria, it's about time we part our ways" the God started and built up the courage to call her by her, if you could say it like that, real name. She saw his hand making a gesture, signalyzing her to go inside the portal.
She bowed for the last time ,,No, it's me that should thank you, let's live our own lives now. Goodbye" and eith these words she took a step forward, only for it to reveal a feeling of something burning into her leg, ignoring it she stepped into the portal and turned back for the last time as well. She trully was grateful for the service the God has given her, but life must go on. We can't simply get stuck in the past, the only option for her now is to live in the present and accept whatever fate brings upon her life. Maybe this event is meant to be, who knows.
...
Victoria felt a familiar feeling, a pair of hands held her by the waist, however she wasn't falling now. She opened her eyes, her vision turned blurry for a few seconds, but when it got focused again, the view in front of her revealed a beautiful view. ,,Is this hell?" She thought to herself, not believing her own eyes, that were with her her whole life.
The colour of roses was scattered all over the place. It was quite dark yet the palace she was viewing was shining though the thick air, that surrounded her, from the time she got there. They had lots of flowers growing to unbelievable heights, toring apart clouds in their way. It felt like a garden, but instead of colorful daisies and tulips, the dominating flowers here were roses and rather red flowers, still looking beautiful rven without people watering them.
While she was thinking about how can they grow so quickly and tall, a person appeared in her view. Victoria got startled, as she didn't notice the woman. ,,Hello there!! I'm here to guard you to the Queen and accompany you" a well-mannered angelic woman was smiling ear to ear while maintaining eye contact. She swung her arm and held it in air, gesturing the other to shake hands.
Victoria lightly smiled, to seem kind yet she still managed to maintain a mysterious vibe to her.
,,Victoria" she answered and waited for the other to say her name ,,Yuni" she said as well.
These words ended their conversation and now they were walking side by side to the palace. The passing by pedestrians were probably informed about Victoria's arrival and wanted to check it out themselves, more like whispering, something Victoria couldn't hear, between themselves, however it did not look pleasant to the eye of Victoria. She tried not to stare at them to not make them uncomfortable, but it was really difficult since she stood up in the crowd real good, with being the only person dressed all in white, platinum long hair and pearls wrapped around her neck and as well as waist instead of a belt. She hurt her leg in the past, thus she needed to have it wrapped in bandages, even if it's all healed now.
Whatsoever, she just ignored them and continued walking confidently. After all, she's supposed to be here, the Queen ordered her to come, she can't simply decline such a honor.
,,How long ar-" Victoria paused mid sentence, when a child ran into her. He fell to the ground, poor child wasn't paying attention to the path in front of him and crashed into someone. She immediately bent down to make sure he's not hurt ,,Are you okay boy?" her hands made way to him and helped him stand up. She also stood up and her gaze was on onto him. ,, I'm sorry miss, I'm all good!" he hurriedly spit out, looking a little scared. Victoria looked at him from head to toe, checking if he's telling the truth, but the child was faster. He waved to her and ran away.
...
,,Ah this is the palace where the Queen lives, it takes quite some time to get here, Her Highness likes quietness i guess" Yuni stretched her hands, cracking her fingers and sighed. As Victoria's ears heard that, she replied sincerily ,,Okay, thank you for accompanying me" ,,No problem I didn't have anything better to do anyway" Yuni said ,,I guess you will be staying there so if you have anything, just come over, I live in the last house in the street we just passed though" ,, You're always welcome there" she smiled again and turned back, walking away probably to her house.
Victoria waved her a goodbye, what a nice person she met. She always thought the people here are filled with disgrace, disgust and hold grudges against angels. However she's not even an angel anymore so it's not surprising to her.
She took a step forward and opened a door, awaiting her. The inside of the palace was filled in gold, two golden statues of heroines stood erect on both sides of the entrance. Her view swung to the ceiling, revealing a massive chandelier, that was turned off since it wasn't dark with all the sun light shining though the windows with a floor-ceiling height. Then she noticed stairs in front of her and went closer, walking on a decorated red carpet.
