~ The next day ~

The sun was already peeking though the curtains, brightening the room. Victoria groaned, she just wanted to sleep longer since yesterday was quite the deal. Thus she kept her eyes closed for a few more minutes before actually getting up.

"I'll just just sleep in tomorrow, today's my first day so It's probably better if I get up earlier to organize everything and stuff" she mumbled to herself still half asleep.

Her head was raging from tonight's sleep. The mattress was thin and hard and along with the cold and hard floor it definitely did not do the job. She thought about where she could get a bed or atleast some decent mattress without any money. However the only thing that came to her mind was stealing, which was the last thing she wanted to do here. The thing is that, that she already has kind of a bad reputation here and there are for sure rumors about her descent here. Honestly she really wasn't in the mood to hear them or respond to them.

She looked around the room and got hit by reality. This room really was ugly and empty...a lot empty.

She just sighed and continued to get ready for her first morning here. In Hell. Literally.

She looked down and reached for an apple that she found yesterday infront of her house and began eating. After all even in Heaven the meals weren't fancy or anything.

Her eyes saddened a bit. "I wonder how's everyone doing. Do they hate me?" she frowned. She didn't know ehere she belonged, she did break the rules in Heaven so she couldn't belong there but still she lived there for years. In Hell...she was there for almost 2 days, but she's still an angel. Does she really belong here? People here look too different from her.

She shook off all those thoughts and went to the door. Grabbing the handle, she felt a strange feeling inside of her. Chills ran down her spine, but she shook it off again and took a step outside. Even though her morning inside wasn't so great, the outside looked beautiful. The sky was clear and it was really bright, instantly improving one's mood. Such a nice view after getting up was really worth it. Not that she would be all sad and depressed about a grey sky and rain, more like it just gave her an encouragement, the sky is bright so she must be too. In her opinion it seemed like an unwritten rule to be happy if the other party is. It could really ruin one's mood if the person with them was all grumpy and sad, don't you think so? However sometimes we aren't capable of that, that's understandable.

The cold morning breeze brushed past her cheeks and sent chills down her spine.

As she started walking, all of the beautiful views appeared to her. This was the lowest level of all realms, so why was it also the most beautiful? Tall mountains standing on esmerald colored grass with flowers blooming like in the spring.

She stopped for a minute to appreciate it. She also wanted to see how many people lived there as well as if there's something to possibly do in free time or just something interesting. She focused her gaze on a quite outstanding building a few meters from her. It had big doors and colored glass windows. But there were also people frequently coming in and out of the mysterious building. Must be quite busy.

Victoria thought about how she may visit it in the afternoon or evening, based on how many things she must get done first. She's going to the palace to see the Queen after all. Who knows how many things she will assign to her.

She sighed as she thought about her busy afternoon. She just wanted to rest all day and explore the nature here. Oh! and that building.

She started walking again, this time without pausing, and quickened her pace to be there earlier, which meant more time for herself later. She passed a lot of houses and shops when she walked down the street. She noticed that more than half of them sold handcrafted things like cups, accessories, jewellery, clothes and also boots.

Passing though the street, she felt it getting more and more packed. Must be the main street leading to the palace. Yesterday she saw quite a lot of people walking onside and outside. I mean no wonder the palace was super spacious, which meant even more and more work to be done everyday.

After yesterday's meeting, the Queen told her to wait infront of the palace and wait for her, since she may get lost inside and that couldn't happen. They got to have some secrets, she laughed to herself.

She stood there for already like 3 minutes, when she saw a tall woman walking towards her and of course guards behind her. Victoria straightened her back and loudly greeted her.

"Good morning ma'am, how's your day going?" she asked her to keep the conversation going since she hated embarrassing quietness.

"Good morning dear, everything's fine so far, how about you? Did you like your first night here?" she smiled at her. She reminded her of her mother. The mother that is definitely dead by now. The feeling of not being able to say goodbye to her was eating her inside out all days.

Her eyes showed a hint of sadness yet again, but continued to talk calmly.

"Good to hear! Uh...You could say it was an experience for sure" she paused for a second, laughing it off, before continuing "Well jokes aside it wasn't bad for a first night, I'm not complaining" she said the last sentence with a more likely faked smile.

The Queen chuckled at her comments, seeming to know what Victoria's been talking about.

"For sure" she smiled at her and closed her eyes for a second.

"I hope you'll be able to bear for the upcoming days because I have some work for you and it would be a pity if you had bad mood because of your room" she sighed.

She turned around and walked to the main gate alongside with Victoria and her guards.
